If I had my hat on I would doff it to you sir for sheer bravado! My Mother had a friend called "Doff". Her real name was ''Dorothea'' but that's a bit of a mouthful for a little girl so she called herself Doff!

I've now tortured myself by watching some of Vydras goals. There is and has simply been no comparison with the two. Matty has touch and has a unbelievable ability to connect so sweetly with the ball on his left or right. There's been a few players that have ripped my heart out when they left. Matty is well up there.
If there is someone at Burnley who genuinely believes that Musa is a better option than Vydra then they should seriously consider finding a new career. I’ve seen Vydra once or twice on TV over the last year and he’s infinitely better than Musa in every aspect of his game.
Are you on drugs ? Musa is clearly much better. They should release that waster Vydra from his contract as soon possible. Money down the drain.
Oh yes my mistake, very misunderstood player Musa.... mercurial genius, different wavelength to the Leicester cloggers.... get him in Dychey and let Vydra go back to that lower league club he used to play for. *touches nose and winks*
That's much better. We may decide to offer him a contract purely for sentimental reasons to avoid him landing on the scrapheap in these difficult times.
I've always thought Vardy is what Vydra could have been if he had greater mental fortitude. Vardy seems to have the unshakable confidence of a dog chasing a stick, whereas Vydra is probably too emotionally complex for his own good. The fact that Vydra is an anagram of Vardy has always made suspicious of some deeper connection there.
During the playoff semi-final, Vardy watched on from the bench as Vydra tore Leicester apart. It was Vardy who aspired to be Vydra.
Indeed and I would go as far as saying Vydra has more natural talent than Vardy, but boy has Vardy made the most of what he's got. Vydra sadly hasn't.
Vydra made some really foolish decisions when joining WBA and Burnley, and was **** on from a height when, after promotion and signing a new 5 year deal, he was told he wasn't required and forced back into the championship as a dejected figure at Reading.....
Agreed and for this reason I wonder if he would want to deal with us again. At the time he had just bought a fairly non-descript semi-detached house near where I was living in Watford. If I remember correctly it was the first time he had bought a permanent home. Then almost immediately after that we discarded him. I think it's clear the Watford leadership see Vydra as a tool to aid a promotion push who will then be readily discarded if we are successful. So I wouldn't blame him choosing a different club. Personally I would be ecstatic if we did sign him though.
Yes I'd love to see him back here but think it's pretty unlikely. I can see him firing someone else to promotion.
In fairness though, which Championship club with ambitions of promotion will see him as their first choice striker in the Premier League? Besides, in the short term, he wants to get back in the Czech team for the Euros, and we (or Bournemouth) can help him do just that
I thought it was like 2 season ago around 2018 when Vydra was banging them in for Derby and got their player of the season. I am not sure whether you are on the wind up saying Gray and MV are like for like, I am just going to assume you are because there is no way you can be serious.
Of all the things you can accuse Vydra of, a bad first touch is not one of them. He may or may not be the player he was, but there’s no way his ball control has regressed to Gray’s level.
Mine hasn't got that bad yet either. Mind you I sliced one left footed in my own net last week. A thing of beauty.
