Like a few other posters I am perhaps foolishly quite optimistic about the outcome. The stats however do not bode well for us. We have not scored away from home in the league since May 1998 (that's almost 20 years!), a Jason Lee goal at Fulham. More worringly, we have not won away from home against anyone since 1988. That's a good end of season line up, we're going to have a go at least. Not much else we could have done really with Capoue and Cleverley out, Chalobah unable to start and Ndong being Ndog*****. Might get a spanking here with no defensive midfielder but let's go down swinging at least. Nice touch for Gomes and Bachmann as well.

Seems like the pre-game optimism of playing Uniteds ‘reserves’ a week before the cup was a bit misplaced. Just score a ******* away goal. This away from us utterly horrid and can’t be ignored, last day or not.
