Last game of the season - and it's a free swing as many of us like to coin the phrase. Our record here is not good and thinking back to the reverse game at the Vic where a certain Mr. A Young for whatever reason annoyed a lot of us for his celebrations (although playing for an opposing team, he has a right to celebrate a goal) and his actions.

Not a game we need to win or get anything from as we are safe now thanks to our rather fortunate win as it turns out against Newcastle last week. Formation wise, I would like to see 4-4-2 and Gray/Deeney again to start with maybe Okaka or even dare I say Sinclair come on later if either of the later get tired. Hughes will work his socks off as per usual and expect Holebas to have a tussle with Rashford (if he plays).

Gomes in goal? or just at least a cameo - to make his 100th appearance please Gracia? He deserves it, and it would be a fitting end to the season for him and us. I don't really care about the result (well I do), as long as the performance is hard working and we try to contain them. They may well have one eye on the FA Cup Final so this could be our chance to sneak something if Mourino puts out a weakened side perhaps.

My prediction: 2-1 Yes, we score away from home!!

Fortunate win? we had 8 shots on target including a missed penalty. They had 1.

I agree that an Okaka who is out for the season and just had an operation should be ahead of Sinclair in the pecking order. Put him on the bench in his wheelchair if needs be.

I think we should set up to defend totally as we cant score away from home.

I'd like to see the same starting lineup as against Newcastle, but with a couple of youth players to come on in the 2nd half. Pereira is getting rave reviews as is lewis gordon. Maybe an appearance from Randall Williams if he is back from his successful loan spell at Wycombe?

Always difficult to get excited about these ‘dead rubber’ last games. That being said, if it does turn out to be Gracia’s last game, I hope the team give it a real go.

Put Gomes back in for his 100th game. And also because he’s better than Karnezis. Put Cassidy on the bench in place of Sinclair and maybe Lewis Gordon as well by way of rewarding his YPOTS award. Finally, if he is up to 10 mins of a game, name Chalobah on the bench too.

    2-0 United.

Cassidy is off playing U17 Euro Championship football for RoI, so he won't feature.

Can we not send Okaka in his place?

It would be very 'Watford' to put in a great performance and win this. Would love to see two up front again but it comes at a price as Hughes is far less effective. Start Gomes, he's ***** but he deserves his 100th game. Sod putting Gordon on the bench, start him!

Our boys are on the beach and their players will be focusing on the cup.

This will be an awful game with not much attacking threat from either team. The 1 shot on target they have will go in and we will lose 1-0.

If Tottenham win tonight against Newcastle, then Manchester United will need at least a point from their game against West Ham tomorrow to be sure of second place. So, a full strength team tomorrow, then rest the whole first XI three days later for the game with us, with an eye on the cup final six days later.

Manchester United Reserves 4 Watford 0 is it then.

Just seen we are 15/1 for this, considering United have a Cup Final the week after they are pretty decent odds

Watford win all day, United aren't the team they were now they have the anti Ferguson in Mourinho.

They are crap odds when you remember we haven't scored away for months and have one point to show for it. And as awful as United can be at times this season, their home record is very good.

This is a Man Utd side who lost 0-1 to both Brom and Brighton recently and as SLB wrote just now will probably have clinched 2nd place by Thursday night and can thus afford to rest players ahead of the Cup Final.

I actually think we will get at least a point and maybe even a win.

With Southampton and West Brom hitting form at the crucial time and Stoke having what looks like a very winnable game at Swansea this weekend, we need to pick up at least a point from this or we could end up getting sucked in to the relegation battle

I'm expecting us to struggle on the basis they have a better team and are at home, sometimes it's best to keep things simples
  31. It would be nice to have a real go and try and get something from this game, it would be a great end to the season.

There is nothing on this match, apart from a bit of prize money.

When the pressure is off, Watford perform.

I expect a win in this game. The only thing I’m a bit concerned by is United’s recent bad run. They don’t usually last too long.

However, I’m expecting United 0 Watford 2. That will have Lawro spitting out his rusks.

The worrying thing is that people just won't accept that this is a real possibility, however remote and we are in danger of sleep-walking to relegation. One more win should be enough though.

Yeah but there's a saying in life:

"You win some, you lose some"

Is a win the best idea if it means we'll lose some?
