    Absolutely spot on. Dire, dreadful dirge of a record.

    Instantly hated it when I first heard it in 1987, despise it more with each passing year, so glad the media w-fest to get it to No. 1 this year failed.

    If I ever I meet the Pet Shop Boys, I will gladly buy them a big drink for keeping it off the top in the first place 36 years ago.
