Agreed. Whilst I understand and enjoy why people share rumours and suggestions on here and post links to various media outlets, too many take what they read as totally reliable. WO and Herefordshire Mercury just re-hash stories from elsewhere these days and it's clear they have no real sources within the club. Sadly, twitter is the most reliable form of info these days, even if there is a higher percentage of nonsense on there too.

Klopp has openly stated that Markovic can move on. But he'd be mad to quote prices openly and I'm not sure a manager or club has openly leaked an asking price to the press - unless there is a release clause.

Silva has confirmed today on SSN we have not bid for Markovic. This makes me happy as even at a discounted price would be an expensive risk for us at this time. Hopefully this thread can close as soon as he moves to Italy and becomes a small footnote in EPL history. Let's now get Ghezzal and Carrillo!
