  1. Chalobah for Pereyra, then 4 diamond 2 with Hughes the point of the diamond

Thought that was a disappointing performance . Even in the first half we lacked quality and the passing was poor . The chances generally came from poor Fulham defending .

Seemed to lack energy in the second half and didn’t have our usual barnstorming end . Nevertheless we had the chances to win the game ,but I think too many players had an off day today .

Javi opted not to match them up in the 2nd half, I think because he felt they were still vulnerable defensively.

Ultimately we'd have seen them off if we were more composed

If we'd flooded the midfield and conceded, then he'd have been slated for being too defensive. You can't win

Agree - Pereyra is good on his day and going forward but a liability when they have ball. Positional sense is poor

And who would that one up front have been?

None of our strikers really work as one up front still away from home, which is a big problem. Us going one up front always invites more pressure on our defence and leads to us looking shakier than any other moves.

Jokanovic is an astute manager & a good man.

Demonstrating he is capable at Prem level.

Can’t play that badly all second half and expect a win. Lucky to get a draw quite honestly. When you’re on top and making chances you have to take them and we didn’t in the first half today.

    Couple of things...

Gray was again excellent, proving his quality.

. .. And they should have been down to 10. I suppose it evens itself out though after the Capoue incident

If you don't take your chances and Atkinson has his familiar South London failing, you run the risk of disappointment.
Certain red for TFM,probable penalty and the game, baring a catastrophe, is over.
I agree that RP should have been subbed and Janmaat had an aberration for the goal.
I will be content with a point by Tuesday but now I'm peeved.
    Capoue was excellent,again.

And someone underpaid me today and I made a poor decision coming back on the A414 instead of White Stubbs Lane AND I got soaked.

    A draw was fair.

I'll read out our back 4. Holebas Kabasele Cathcart Janmaat. Not exactly going to terrify the opposition are they. We didn't upgrade in the summer so bad defending at times par for the course. We need to score at least 2 a game to get 3 points it would seem.

Capoue playing probably at his peak at the moment. I don't get the calls to get Chalobah back in the side if we're sticking with 4-4-2. Doucoure and Capoue don't need changing

Mitro imposed himself on the game in the second half in a Deeneyesque way.

He could easily have bagged a hat trick.

    Simply can’t let that happen.

How any fan can blame Gracia for that is ridiculous.

Had our players had their shooting boots on and could actually find a pass in the final third, we would be looking at our highest ever Prem win.

On top of that Fulham should have been down to 10 men in the first half. Huge game changer. I hope Deeney asks for more protection.

Then the blatant penalty that wasn’t given, also a huge game changer. Yes we were the poorer side in the second half but we still had good chances to further our lead. Yet our passing was off. Can’t blame Gracia for that.

So because we draw against a poor side that we should have beaten, it’s Gracia’s fault. Had the players done their jobs, this wouldn’t even be getting discussed.

Gracia got it right today, our players need to hang their heads in shame. Especially Janmaat for that poncey attempt to intercept the ball which they scored from.

No, no, please think nothing of it.

    Fulham is quintessentially West London.

For the bathroom issue, maybe those lighted strips as used along the aisle in planes?

Of all our Head Coaches in the Pozzo era, I think Jokanovic was the best one for his use of substitutions to change matches. Today sadly we were on the receiving end of that. I’m also not sure that our first change, replacing Hughes, benefitted our cause.

An enjoyable match nonetheless. One we really should have won, yet equally could easily have lost at the end too.

Although right now it feels like two points thrown away, I believe a point at Craven Cottage will look like a decent one as the season goes on. It’s just a pity we can’t seem to maintain a high level of consistency over both halves of the same match. Today was last Saturday in reverse.

Still so many reasons to feel optimistic right now. We are seeing what this team can be capable of achieving.

Watching Troy and Javi’s interviews post-match, I also feel pleased we are a club with a little bit of class about us. I think we were hard done by not to get a penalty and not to be playing against ten men not eleven, but there was no angry moaning from either interviewee.

Hope Troy isn’t badly injured, and we go again next Sunday with 13 points already in the bank.

We haven’t had a new ‘Head Coach’ this season.

    All a bit stale.

A little thought for Gino to mull over.

"Doesn’t fit their narrative, it was Watford this, Watford that all game. They’re no different to a championship team, they play route one with a lump but have two technically gifted midfielders and that’s it"

First time ever at CC and what a dump of a ground. Pitch is OK but hated the area and the local coffee.

Can’t complain at the result. It was day and night to our usual format, play well first half for a change, dominate the game, score early, and have a blaintant penalty turned down.

Second half was awful. I thought to myself at half time “it’s ours to lose” and guess what, we nearly did. Foster made a superb save to deny something I cannot pronounce a goal, but we looked very fatigued second half and Fulham did what we do best from 45 to 90.

As for their goal, Capoo should of blocked it before and his tackle looked very half hearted. When we concede generally, we push on for a winner but I saw none of that today. I do not know what was happening at HT but clearly sonething never got across. Nice to see Success again but can we bring him on after HT? He never has a chance to impact the game.

Holebas has a poor game, his corners and crosses were quite poor. Deeney worked hard but seemed to be muscles off the ball a lot. Nice goal from Gray and a great start to the game but if you don’t take your chances especially in the Premiership you will get hurt.

It was nice to get something out of the game from our first half effort but I really worry about Arsenal now. Play like that SH we will get smashed.

Gracia needs to re think when to use a sub and when to tell if a player is fatigued. Have we gone downhill since Spuds? No. The effort is there and the football is good overall, but we cannot sit on 1-0 leads. We seemed to want to see out the game and obviously when they scored it was all then with their tails up.

Gracia said the players felt disappointed on the radio back, and yes so are we Gracia. I’m glad they feel like that, because it felt like a loss mentally.

A weeks graft is required now and looking back on how we can improve on this. Get anything at Arsenal is a bonus, but it’s nice we never lost two on the spin. Could be an important point end of the season.

Credit to Fulham, they never gave up and deserved their point.

    I meant Jamnatt not Caupoue.

Surely the 13 points is guaranteed unless the HSBC points deduction is back on the table.

OK result on paper, yes very disappointing after leading for so long and not taking chances but at least we didn't fold completely.

Conditions probably didn't make it an easy game for either side so overall a fair result on balance. We looked solid for most of it even when we were under pressure

SR, you make me wonder if we were thrown by having so much possession & territory in the first half. Almost half the game was played in the Fulham third.

Did this slightly disorientate us & contribute to our surrendering of midfield in the second half?

Probably not but I suspect we may be more comfortable in the counter attacking role next week.

I can't agree about The Cottage and the area, unless it has changed radically in the last decade.
I always look forward to going there and if you think the area is rough what do you think of Selhurst,The Kennel and a few others I could mention?
