Is there a way you could format the default settings for posting a picture from URL, so that you don't need to uncheck the source locally box every time? It seems to be causing a lot of problems recently.

 

Could people also learn you can post pictures without the attachment nonsense but posting the image URL

Looks sorted to me now. Posters will only have the option to post an image already hosted somewhere online, and the 'source locally' box has disappeared. Should stop the confusion. Good work sir.

What about a game where everyone enters gets allocated a random team for euro 2012, if theres too many double it up, and the winner runners up and the winner of the 3/4th play off win something?

I've had a little scout on a fair few forums now, for finding our other fans' opinions on us, players of their we have been linked with etc. and I have to say there is no forum around presentation-wise as good as this one. Have a look at the Stevenage one, it's absolutely shocking!! Haha!

Have to agree with that. VBulletin is by far and away the best forum software out there. Expensive compared to others but worth it.

The ones like the outlaws board just i cant imagine anyone using it frequently. Just gets far far too boring to click on each reply so it loads up individually.

That would be a great idea but a massive bandwidth hog if possible. I presume you're talking about Italian/Spanish to English, not text/chav to English?

My reasoning would be more fans from udinese and Granada to come and enjoy the banter...without the barrier of language.

 

Translation software requires people to spell correctly, get their grammar spot on, not use slang or txt spk etc etc. I don't see how it would be practical ???

Not sure if it's something the forum could sort out but sometimes when I click on an advert it opens a new tab for about half a second then it closes again, and instead of being able to right click on it to open a new tab or open in a new window it's got the play/loop options instead?

 

Not looking likely at the mo. We are restricted to options available in the forum software or have to add in an application. Not sure one exists, if it does would it be any better or more used than the star system?

Sounds like you've got a quicktime/itunes or flash application that sees it as a movie and is trying to take over the management of it.

If you're using Firefox or other browser which allows add in & extensions, try having a look through to see if disabling any of them helps.

 

I have ad-block, a very useful add-in, but disabled for the good of these forums in terms of advert clicking capabilities

 

Yeh I run adblock and adblock plus but i've disabled them for this domain.

 

Can everyone stop making about 6 different threads for the same story? It clutters the forum making threads hard to follow due to same things being discussed under different thread titles
