I'd like that...assuming the legend goes out on top. Nightmare for the all important revenue watchers tho. Two of the smallest market teams in the super bowl means low tv ratings. I love it though! F'em all!

 

Have put a vbookie event up for the Superbowl, if any of of you more knowledgeable guys want to have a look, let us know if odds etc are OK as my knowledge is not that great, and of course, have a bet

 

In my opinion the Colts' odds should be a bit narrower, and of course, Patriots is spelt with an O ;D

 

The Pats also broke the record for number points scored in a season. Wowee, that's a lot of records.

 

Tom Brady gets League MVP - well there was no doubt there. QB of a 16-0 team, 50 TD passes to pass (excuse the pun) Peyton Manning's record.

Adrian Petersen gets Offensive Rookie of the year award. Also a pretty clear winner in that one. One of the best RB this season and really helped out the Vikings seeing as Tavaris Jackson really struggled at times.

 

That also reminds me, Warren Sapp has announced his retirement. Certainly a big player for whatever team you put him in ;D

Seriously, the guy was a great player and I wouldn't be suprised to see him mentioned for the Hall of Fame a few years down the line.

Chargers over Titans (my apologies)
Jaguars over Steelers

True, we are going to have to do something special to beat the Chargers. We can do it, but probably won't.

As for the others I agree on the whole although I think that the Redskins vs Seahawks could go the other way whereas Giants will beat the Bucs and the Jags will have too much for the Steelers.

 

Early indications would suggest that I may have to rethink my Seahawks/Skins prediction. The Hawks are looking quite good

 

Washington tried to make a game of it around the end of the 3rd beginning of the 4th quarter, but the Seahawks pounded them into submission for the rest of the game.

Titans are 6-0 up on the Chargers at the half. Let's hope we can stick it out although I am not too hopeful since we threw away a 14 point lead in our regular season game against the Chargers.

 

Interesting...all the usual suspects were a no show, but the random guys stepped up. Sorry about the Titans, bro.

 

It'll be Pats - Colts and Seahawks - Cowboys.

The surprise Syuperbowl will be Seahawks v. Colts with Colts winning it.

I knew we would blow it. Damn shame as limiting LT to a 2 yard per carry average 42 of 21 attempts is no mean feat.

 

The NFL wants Pats-Cowboys.

I want Packers-Chargers.

It'll probably be Pats-Colts.

I still don't understand what they mean, except that the home teams ought to win, but i didn't need any odds to tell me that.

I think i tmeans the NFC games should have better chances of the home teams winning, while the AFC games should be closer..?
