He'll get more game time there than here, but considering their current position I wonder if they'd actually start him that often. He's getting to the stage where he needs to be somewhere he can play week in week out.

This appears to be the logic trap many are caught in. Once you stop looking for sense in Watford’s transfer dealings it really is much easier to just go with the flow.
Crazy. He wasn’t great at the start of the season but he’s the only midfielder that actually plays forward! With better players around him (and in a formation less-bat****-crazy than Ivic’s 3-2-2-2-1) he could be useful for us. Leventhal claims we want him to get “more minutes”. Why on Earth would La Liga side Granada give him more minutes than we would in the Championship?! Owners are totally insane.
He hasn't been much use tbh and he isn't really a CM, in reality, not at present, anyway, but as some have already expressed - what the hell is going on here - our midfield has been fairly easy to bypass this season anyway, without the need for any great cull. Presume tomorrow is going to be a bonanza of stalwart up-and-downers.
Makes sense, he is far too skillfull to fit into our midfield and could block Gosling’s path to the first team
Always thought he'd be better suited to Spanish football and had pretty much given up on him contributing anything much this season but... what is going on? We've lost Capoue, sent back Garner and Chalobah and Quina are linked with moves away. That's some mid season overhaul for the middle of the pitch! Having said that, our centre midfield has been weak all season so maybe it needed this shake up. Got to be at least one more midfielder coming in...

Always thought it was insane to base a successful promotion campaign with a midfield of Chalobah, Hughes and Quina. Cleverley and Hughes will now be joined with someone with the ability to i apart the game. Have to day I don’t think Quina will make it in British football. Best to loan him to Granada and boost his value for a sale in the summer. If we get promoted£ I would only see him as a squad player, and if it’s another Championship season he simply is not robust enough
Look, don't be like that. It's simply down to him needing minutes after his injury. That's what King Adam has been told. How he gets these minutes at the side 7th in La Liga and not ours is a mystery that doesn't require solving.

He's always seemingly injured. Just not robust enough and no coach here has trusted him in any capacity. I can't see how he'll be missed seeing he's barely laid a foot beyond the white line in anger since being here.
Our most positive midfielder. The only one capable, along with Hughes of moving the ball forward, and beating a man. Also feel he's contribute a few goals if given an extended run in the team. If there's no replacement incoming, this is shambolic
And here we were thinking we need extra options in midfield. Turns out we had too many. Get rid of them all I say. The logical conclusion of the hoof to Deeney tactic - you don't actually need a midfield.
I suppose there is less chance of him being re-injured over there! He was quite involved before the injury this season tbf. Mind I hope the people saying he's rubbish etc aren't moaning now that he might be off.
