Just scored a cracker for Granada 7 minutes into his first La Liga start. https://twitter.com/loanwatford/status/1363545160324419584?s=21
Not another one showing what he can do when he has left the club ? Will we see him come back for next season ? Foulquier however scored an own goal. Nehuen Perez has been there but down in the pecking order. Very good when he has played. Perhaps Quina can ask him to come back with him.
Agreed we know he's got a a dsreamer in his locker but he never produced a high level of consistency that's needed.
Ah, this old tosh again. You have to be over 6 foot and at least 13 stone to succeed in the Championship, you know!
I think it's fair to say he was too easy for opponents to ease off of the ball. That was happening from very early on in the season. Now I guess that's partly down to him but also the protection we gave him and the role he was asked to play. Where I think he would be profiting now is as part of a midfield 3 or even in the Sema role wide left.
As you allude to, it's more about how we use him. I just don't get this obsession, particularly in the Championship, with talking about players being "too lightweight", especially attacking players. Some of the best attacking players of all time - and more relevantly some of the best attacking players in this division - have been small, weak and easy to knock off the ball when it comes down to it, but it hasn't stopped them from being great players.
Ashley Young when with us another example, always looked like his shirt and shorts were 2 sizes too large
