****s sake. Every time. I'm minded to write a strongly worded letter to their owners. It's not fair.

 

Pretty self explanatory. He has a solid 5 months with us and signs a pre-contract deal from Jan 1st the fee is settled by tribunal - whether with us or someone else. 5 good months in the Prem will definitely have him valued at more than £5m in that system when you consider Sinclair and Solanke had barely kicked a ball

Just confirmed on SSN that Bournemouth are indeed in advanced talks with Chalobah, apparently they are willing to double the salary we have offered. Very frustrating.

It's ok, we can just pretend that Silva "looked into his eyes" at Chiswell Green Starbucks and decided against the move, rather than accept that those south coast tinpots can pay more than us.

 

How do people think Doucoure and Chalobah would do as the two holding players in a 4-2-3-1? I'm not sure whether they are too similar, or maybe that will be an advantage because it stops teams man-marking one and preventing us playing out from the back.

 

I don't think it will be 2 holding players. I can see it being a deep-lying anchor (Chalobah) and and box-to-box (Doucoure).

I think it will be a 4231 with the ball and a 4141 without the ball.

Good point well made. Apparently we are also taking a couple on loan from Udinese called Abdi and Vydra. Never heard of them. Probably rubbish but I guess at least
they won't cost anything.
