I believe FF came off the bench against Fulham

Well said. Deeneys movement was shocking. Ighalo just had one of those days. But it will only get better.

  3. Yes I do. You clearly don't, as Vydra, Abdi, and FF did not start together in either which was your point if I read it correctly.

'Just can't believe Vydra,Abdi& FF are not even in the starting 11'

apologies if I've misunderstood, but seems clear enough

btw FF was truly awful at Fulham, came on, missed a sitter, then got stroppy at Troy for not passing for Troy's 3rd

Any cross or balls into the box looks lethal after watching Anya's efforts.Troy has had no service or support and 3 + defenders around him every game.Dont get how our style of play has changed so much from the last two seasons we have gone from a free flowing exciting football team to watch who scores lots of goals,to a team set up to defend and nic the odd goal.who so far is struggling up front with some of our best players not even being used and the club thinking of loaning or selling some of them.Between Abdi,Vydra ,FF,Troy&Soulman they have scored around 70 of our goals last year that's the problem them not playing or playing a different formation or not even featuring.

Jesus Christ. I am enjoying the Premiership experience, but I'm considering wanting the Championship back now. What the f**k has happened to some of you? You sound like Spurs fans!

He's played 45 minutes..... Half a game.... He's come from the Chinese League.....

And he's already dog sh*t? Someone posted, before the season started, a thread called "I expect a slow start" or words to that effect. It really couldn't be more appropriate.

They did all start together at Sheffield Wednesday.

Also Forest at home. That's it.

I personally thought he showed some good touches and his corner deliver showed promise.

Why Diamanti and not Abdi on Sunday? Can anyone explain?

You guys really need to start using your ****ing eyes. I said that I thought Diamanti was dog****e on Saturday, not that he's dog****e full stop.

I'm sure he'll improve, but I stand by my original opinion that he was v poor on SATURDAY.

Is that clear enough for you?

People on here are like sheep. One person says something and it just snowballs. Nobody takes the time to read the original post. Stupid really.

I understand that, what I'm saying is I don't understand how you can think he was that bad on Saturday.

I saw a competent performance from a short 45 minute spell in what was, we all agree, not a game for the attackers. Nothing especially brilliant, nothing especially bad. But enough for me to be optimistic.

So, perhaps, it is El Distraido who needs to start using his ****ing eyes?

I agree more with el distraido than you on this, though dog****e might be a little OTT, but on that performance not a lot IMO! Hopefully it was down to lack of fitness and not because he has not got the legs anymore, only time will tell. But for me he should not be playing ahead of some others until he gets up to speed!

Glad you understand my original post!

I would add thought that having a say on whether a particular player had a good or bad game on Sunday is solely down to one's own personal thought, not someone's eyesight.

I'm not going to repost what I said before about Diamanti, though if you go back a few pages I'm sure you can find it. Once again, I stand by my original post and will say that much improvement is required if he us to make the grade here.

We have a difference in option regarding this chap, and that's fine. This is what football forums are for of course

Lots of comments about vydra needing to take his chance when it comes along. There will be no chance. The decision has already been taken and its just a question of where he is sent to. Do you really think anything will change if he gets on and scores against Preston?

  17. UEA_Hornet

He's been training with the squad for three weeks. You can't train match fitness though and the same issues would likely be encountered with any one of the other players we could bring in who hadn't played a competitive game yet.

Yeah the final result will change.

I though Abdi looked to be carrying an injury when he came on against WBA, and as good a playmaker as he is, a winger he isn't.

Thought he did alright when he came on, barking out instructions as Swansea began another phase forward.

Looked excellent I thought. I was really impressed.

The move he did like a pirouette in midfield and knocked the ball out first time to the wing was a thing of beauty. He also hit another pinpoint peach out to the wing just after.

You can tell he's a classy player with a lovely touch.

If we can him properly match fit, what a player he could be for us. That's a big IF though, he does look very static.

Should play ahead of Jurado next game, who appears to have technique and first touch of Messi but f**k all else.

Jurado dribbled well in first few games and has done some wonderful cross field balls. Probably delivered our two best crosses this season.

His performances seem to be decreasing the more he becomes the boo boy however. After his first free kick yesterday I heard some pretty damning abuse. He really hasn't been that bad.

With increased men forward (like yesterday) and pace dragging players from their defensive positions, I'm sure he will be a key player soon.

  28. Arakel

    Arakel First Team

Jurado reminds me a bit of Iggy when he first arrived at the club: trying too hard and things not coming as a result.

I think he's attempting to impress by going for the spectacular too often and, coupled with the increased pace of the game, isn't doing himself any favours.

Iggy settled eventually and I'm sure Jurado will too. He's clearly got the talent.

I think Diamatne or Berghuis could both step into Jurado's role.

personally I can't see why Diamante was on the bench ahead of Guedioura, does he honestly offer more?.....but I would say that wouldn't I

  31. UEA_Hornet

    UEA_Hornet First Team Captain

    Yes :]]

I thought Diamante was spot on when he came on and was very wily in holding up the ball, shimmying past Swansea players and just generally making a nuisance of himself as the sole attacker. I don't think Gueds could have been deployed to do that.

  32. Cude>2<

    Cude>2< First Team Captain

    This.

I don't know what Diamanti was doing, but Swansea seemed to shove him numerous times when he wasn't on the ball. Seemed to wind them up a lot.

Plus I like seeing Diamanti come on, when he's on the bench he puts his hand through his hair and genuinely looks as if he's just woken up.

  33. lotiman

saw Gueds do just that for us regularly during the run in....

apart from the sole attacker bit :naughty:

Astounded by the number of people spelling Diamanti with an 'e' at the end; mind you the threads heading doesn't help.

I think QSF said before the game that Guedioura wasn't match fit so wouldn't be included.
