Hopefully 3 games in 7 days won't be too much of a strain, we've done well to win the previous two games given we rested a few players for both
My Wife was in Stoke for a year at Uni and then lived in Telford for 3 years and thinks they are both ok...she’s Welsh
Good luck to you Burnsy if it happens. There is a bar in New York that is run by a couple of Watford fans I seem to remember.
I've been to Stoke away the two times we've been there. Both in January, both unbelievably cold, both complete rubbish, didn't score or look like scoring in either. I think Delefeou made his debut in one of these and it snowed. He's been in Barcelona a few days before that so must have been well chuffed. Not one I'm disappointed to be missing!
Well safe journey, good luck , health and all that to you and the family Burnsy. You could hook up with the NY City Hornets that are there. Maybe even pop up on Watford FC social media. Don't forget a trip to the Garden. Follow the Rangers. Almost as tough as following the Horns.
I thought as much. I have limited experience of the place but I went to the school for a hockey tournament with my oldest once. It seems a nice little town/village. Not as nice as Chenies, but nice.
Has an amazing cinema apparently. And a canal. Although Hemel also has a canal so might not prove anything.
Iv got a great record at Stoke. 0-1 when Helguson scored to keep us up, 0-3 under Boothroyd when we went up then 0-2 under QSF. That is all.
I’m sure that will be a knock on effect given time differences so all of you who don’t like me, now’s your time to celebrate!
Why? What are we planning? BWO finally taking over by force? I’m in. @NathWFC @GoingDown @Smudger @Jumbolina all signed up too?
Just a note to lighten the mood..... The Bournemouth fans are right up in arms since their last loss. In fact it's a carbon copy of this forum just before Ivic was sacked. Tindall isn't up to it, the players are not up for it, too much slow football and no penetration up front... Thats the Bmth that before Xmas we had decided would share top two with Norwich. Funny old game....
My wife is from New York. We lived there from 2010-2013 until we moved to Cali. Moved back for a year in 2017 before moving to Texas in 2018. I know New York well, so if you need anything or have any questions, let me know.
I've been twice, once at their old ground, a 2-2 draw with Penrice getting one of our goals. At their new ground we won 2-1 with a Mooney brace in the early 2000s.
Reckon we'll win this. Defense is looking very solid, we're showing promising signs of improvement, and Stoke aren't winning many lately. As far as grim towns go....I'd have to nominate Huddersfield. Ugh!
Watford Observer saying predicted lineup will be PZ left wing, Sarr on the right, and Deeney/Pedro up front. And not many changes elsewhere (Hughes & Masina possibly rested).
