Honeymoon over. That was utter garbage. Probably the worst performance of the season in the second half.

No game management. Mistakes from Foster, nothing from Gray or Deeney, Chalobah poor again. It was so, so bad.

Like I said after we appointed Munoz. The feel good factor will probably get you a couple of early results, but it will be short lived.

I cannot see this side going up now. Far too many issues with the team. Nowhere near good enough and this away from is a real concern.

My residence is at the extreme end of the happy clapper spectrum usually but that was utter, utter *****.

Deeney and Gray are done, we need to urgently find a reasonable striker or the best we can hope for is scraping the top six.

I think the fact we are in the top six despite not having a reliable striker proves the quality in the squad, but it must be addressed this month.

Gray is just so **** - lazy, no football brain, always back on his heels, no anticipation, no control, can’t pass. We played with 10 men today

I’d genuinely have considered playing without a striker over the utter failures that are Deeney & Gray over the last few years yet again.

    What a ******* cluster ****.

I’m staggered by how easy it was for them to put the cross in for their second. We just stood and watched.

There are a number of people utterly fixated with Deeney and Gray, but if you open your eyes you’ll see we aren’t good enough all over. Plenty of this squad still get away with murder because of the hysteria around Gray and Deeney. You could have the two best strikers in the world up top and with the woeful delivery from our wide players they’d score nothing.

This is every inch a championship squad, it’s why they got relegated and why they’ll still be in the championship next season.

Foster has been making an increasingly large number of errors the last 2 Seasons. I would genuinely begin to consider whether he should be dropped. No point making great saves if you're allowing soft goals from crosses. The first goal was a good finish more than anything else but the 2nd was just poor reading of the play and reacting to it.

Also, I don't see why Dalby wasn't given a chance when nothing else is working. Nothing to lose at that point.

Think we were playing with 8 men at best.

Hard to Watch. Might as well not played either Gray or Deeney. More worryingly the looked disinterested. I never have and never will understand why any team drops so deeply trying to protect a lead in the first half. Really lacking a real leader on the pitch.

They did come at us. And as for Deeney and Gray could be statues for all the use they are. We are playing with NINE when they start. Fackin awful the pair of them. I would rather have Dalby on. We need to get Perica and Pedro fit ASAP. Success up to speed or bring someone in. The day this pair of wasters leave the club will be a great one.

One because it is a huge dent in the expenses of the club removed. Two because anyone that comes to replace them will be infinitely better as in they are actually mobile. Deeney is done. Barely presses, hardly sprints. Gray cannot control himself let alone the ball.

Logic note to the COGs - if you are going to slag off Deeney and/or Gray, you are, by extension, slagging of the coach(es) that picks them and the owners that haven't replaced them, support them in random press releases, allow them to continually break lockdown rules, allow them to do radio shows and pay them.

    Keep that in mind.

Really poor. Lots of rebuilding work to be done before we can even think about promotion, most of that team need replacing. Annoying that we decided to start playing and showing some desire, when 2-1 down.

Probably wouldn’t be surprised to hear he had lockdown party again.

Lots of huffing and puffing but no quality against a solid side .

Absolutely shocking. Deeney was dreadful-anonymous apart from blasting his one chance over the bar. He barely moved.

Foster at fault for both goals. Good stuff for his GoPro mind with even the opposition joining in Ben’s banter around more poor goals conceded.

Zero ability in general to hold the ball up. When we were being swamped using 4-4-2 the hopelessly under qualified manager had no answers except like for like. Hughes brought on after 90 minutes.

So little to be optimistic about here. Squad needs to be gutted and none of that can happen without Gray and Deeney’s monstrous wages being removed somehow. It’s going to be a long road.

How can you single out Gray for these things and not Deeney? Particularly "always back on his heels, no anticipation"? The fat, useless oaf literally doesn't move and is an absolutely disgraceful excuse for a footballer, a striker and a captain.

That's not to say Gray isn't appalling as well because he absolutely is. I just cannot understand how he can be singled out and Deeney's disgrace of a performance ignored.

So yeah, it turns out that yes, indeed, Munoz' sole effect was to be a Pozzo cheerleader in the dressing room. A full week to work on that and we got no tactics, no energy, no aggression or fight, no intelligence or guile whatsoever. A masterclass.

As I said on the shoutbox, without at the very minimum a striker and central midfielder in in the next week or so, we likely don't even have a chance of playoffs. That's very unlikely to happen, so we probably will sink to midtable.

Hope I'm wrong, of course, but we've all seen Gino and he appears to be intent on crashing this plane with no survivors, so I don't see him pulling the joystick up anytime soon.

Deeney and Gray both disgusting - Deeney worse on the day; I'd be thrilled to never see either play for us again. Deeney's attitude in particular was sickening.

It's not going to be getting better anytime soon, lads and lasses. No-one is going to take Gray or Deeney off our hands so they will just run their contracts down with us unable to afford to replace them and with a coach that is too scared to drop them. Park any thoughts of "if we can just get a striker in..." because we're not even going to be looking for one.

As much as I think this manager is too inexperienced for the situation and expectations placed upon him, his remit with this current squad and during the pandemic is just too hard to fathom.

It’s ‘Manager of The Year’ stuff if he somehow gets this lot promoted.

What’s going on with Hughes where he’s only worthy of playing the added time minutes?

If we are ravaged by Covid, why aren’t we utilising the leverage to get games suspended like others are? And if they are simply injured, again, why aren’t we told?

There’s just too many questions. The money being paid to Gray and Deeney for what they produce is scandalous. Most options on the bench today, again, were not even National League level.

It’s not just ‘not good enough’...it’s nowhere near damn close to that.

Need to stop sacking managers after such a short time in the job. If indeed it's the players running the show, then that needs to be stopped. They're paid a small fortune to play football, and that's what they should get on and do. They're not having to go down a coal mine. If they don't like the boss, they're not babies - get on with it. The club needs to back the manager. We won't get anywhere with this merry-go-round.

Too much player power at the moment. We need a massive overhaul of the arrogant overpaid can't be arsed players. As the captain, Deeney should be setting an example, but currently it's a **** one.

He was no worse than any other of our forward players. Defensively sound will give him credit for that. All I want to see from him is attacking his defenders and delivering the ball. He has so much pace he doesn't need to use any skill to beat them.

He miscontrolled the ball and the Swansea player then also miscontrolled the ball meaning is rolled to Cleverly. Not sure you can give him an assist for that.

    And back to reality.

Or in other words, an away match.

Not scored twice on the road all season, and that miserable record continues.

Frankly we could have Klopp or Pep in charge and they’d struggle to get us doing well with Deeney and Gray up top.

Or this fractured, half-complete squad that sees us start this crucial match with a right-back at left-back, a striking partnership with two non penalty goals between them all season, and (without Capoue) one of the weakest midfields we’ve had for years. And that bench today wtf.

Everybody ready for another Monday morning of Deeney talking the talk again after another Saturday of being absolutely awful in front of goal? Or Foster being the big YouTube star after another Saturday of costing us goals by not coming for crosses or letting in shots he should be saving? Or maybe even Gray behaving as he wishes again in the midst of this awful pandemic just days after another hapless showing as the man paid to get goals to win us matches?

The least enjoyable season for many a year continues, and the least likeable squad (overall) for many a year keep talking the talk without putting in the performances.

Meanwhile properly run clubs like Norwich, Swansea, Brentford and even Muff disappear over the hill.

Even Colin will probably finish above us too, and how we all laughed at him after that opening Friday night.

I’d like to wish all my friends on here a Happy New Year, but I think one of those three words has no place right now considering the ineptitude of our owners, recruiters and several of our team.
