You are clearly blinded by the hype over New England, or as I shall hereby refer to them, The Averagers

I'll be overjoyed if the Pats (and the Cowbs) bite the dust.

I really hope that San Diego get munched (for their two Titan aided comebacks) and that Indy don't make to the Superbowl (AFC South Rivals).

    NFL makes no sence.

I'd like to think that was intentional, I really would

  6. Fitz

You would be sadly deluded were you to think that.

Indeed, Tom Brady managed to steer the Pats past the Jags.

    ;D

Oh, yeah Brett Favre helped the Pack demolish the Seahawks.

How many times must they sneak through. They are the luckiest buggers in the world.

Still, The Colts will see to them next week

Have you seen the GB vs SEA highlights? Damn that is a lot of snow!

Do you even like football anymore mate? Give up the football journalism and go write about my old team, the mighty Hertfordshire Hurricanes.

i watched the seahawks @ GB. was a good game, Ryan Grant fumbled twice in the 1st quarter and that led to the hawks scoring 2 touchdowns :)
unfortunatley GB picked up thier game in the 2nd quarter with brett favre in most of the action.

so, maybe next year for the seahawks :(
NFC West Champs 4 years running :D

Are the Hertfordshire Hurricanes the ones who train at Herts Uni? As I drove past them today, looking very organised

Seahawks are very good, and will remain good next year due to the style of play they have, it's just that they came up against the Legendary Favre. I haven't seen a "will to win" like his since Michael Jordan retired from the Chicago Bulls. Really impressive and enjoyable, if you are a neitral fan...

Gives you some perspective on where Jay Demerit grew up. It is REALLY BLOODY COLD there. You really have to want to play in that.

I lived in Chicago for about 5 years which is about 90 minutes or so by car south of GB, and has similar weather. It is really inhuman to live there for about 5 months a year.

I always wanted to attend a GB/Chicago Bears 'derby' game at Chicago's Soldier Field...with my down coat and a down sleeping bag. Those guys are nuts, but I wanted to try it once...never did.

    GO NEITRAL!

And I will do my best to watch today's games despite having a cracking headache. At the moment the Champions Elect look good.

I didn't realize I was NEITRAL until just this moment.

10-7 at the half, is not a bad score for SD.

Would have been better had that return gone ahead. Cromartie is a pretty average DB, but he can't half run.

One of the things I still really like about the 'futbol Americain' is that when guys go down hurt, they ar really hurt, unlike all the bad acting jobs you see in sawker.

yeah but if your not, its frustrating when the packers are all over you for 3 quarters of the game!
basically every play they made, they got the 10yards on the first ball with ryan grant

    SD 14 - 10 IND

    Indy in the Redzone...

...and now we have the thing I hate the most about the game: challenged calls!

    Let the yawning begin.

Rivers has twisted his ankle a little bit. Surely, for the sake of getting to the 'Championship Game' and not letting Volek play he should battle on?

And Anthony Gonzalez, despite being an ugly bugger, is a good good receiver.

5 minutes remain, and Manning's Colts are down by 4.

This is the crucible in which Super Bowl Champions are forged.

Volek is an ex-Titan = booooooooooooooo

SD though is doing alright to be 28-24 up.

As an Englishman I should be supporting the underdog.
But I hate the Patriots and therefore want the greatest opportunity of them losing to occur.
I like both of these teams.

I really am torn for these three minutes.

With Both Rivers and LT on the sidelines...

Hey I thought you liked the Titans?

  31. Y&P

But we British don't take well to those who leave our teams.

Unless they're absolute legends. And Volek does not quite fill that role.

  32. Evasive

I don't know exactly, but some stuff went down between Billy Volek and Jeff Fisher and one of them had to go... ;D

Jeff has done more for us than Billy so my support is firmly behind Jeff Fisher.

Although the Colts are now in the red zone and will probably go ahead as we speak... or type...

****. It's like when Pittsburgh were paying Indy two season ago. I cheered when Bettis fumbled right at the end, then changed my mind and cheered when Big Ben tackled the returner and then cheered when Vanderjagt missed the field goal, meaning the Colts were out. You only know who you're following when it comes to the make or break plays.

    I've decided I'm pro-Colts
