apparently we paid 400,000 and have to pay Wycome 25% on any profit over that - £650,000 and we get the rest, making a profit of just under 2 million. Not bad as long as we get a decent replacement. Wycome must be smiling over a million for a player that had just 5 months left on his contract !

As I said on the other thread, good bit of business by Rogers, know it was undisclosed fee when we signed him but can't imagine it was more than 500-750k? Maybe a sell-on fee but still at least 1mil profit in less than 8 months.

But how do you replace a player of Willo's quality for a mil? Players like him are very difficult to find, let alone sign them

I always though it was less than the 400k and was 100k but with the add ons as he onlt had 6 months left of his contract at Wycombe. We won't know anyway as it will be 'undisclosed' like they all are nowadays.

We must have accepted his transfer request or he would not be sold! Sad to see him go but we couldnt do anything about it. Shame he acted the way he did but cant blame him for wanting a shot at the premier league.
