Wilmot has looked totally out of his depth. I would be happy to send him out on loan for another season, if we get a new left footed CB + Troost-Ekong in.

I’m firmly in the happy clapper camp but not that enthused about Troost-Ekong. He’s younger than our other CBs but not convinced he’s a cut above them and he’s right footed when we’ve been crying out for a left-footer. Maybe it’s a case of him replacing Dawson and we’ll still bring in a left-footer but that’s a lot of centre-backs anyway, particularly if we revert to a back 4. Maybe he is more two footed than some of our other options?

Yes from the summer before to be honest. I truly think that Gracia worked miracles that year and the 4 opening wins removed all threat of relegation at a stroke, but the squad management that summer was unforgivable. Bizarre contract extensions. Not learning from mistakes. Writing was on the wall for me, and yes I looked like a fool for 12 months but was glad to cheer on Gracia's heroics and have some amazing memories. I still wanted Pozzo gone though.

Who on Earth do you want then? Its human nature to make mistakes let's give them a chance to rectify them first. You will feel different once we've smashed 4 past the Scum.

 

I personally think we are past that now and the financial outlook is very bleak. Not sure they have the finance to turn it round (and neither will anybody unless we get a sugar daddy which won't happen). A long road ahead.

Who would I want? Someone who doesn't put up with the Giraldi nonsense in team affairs. Someone who gives managers a chance to build. Someone who isn't more interested in the loan pool than first team. Someone who communicates a vision for the club. Someone who doesn't let the finances run out of control. The person doesn't need to be rich.
