I realised the village papers were owned by Piers Morgan so I threw them in the river! We'll be getting better papers tomorrow.

I am so annoyed about this. Was thinking that it's hardly going to help if the Seer does view me anyway as it'll just be me being talked about, I'd vote me if there were two message on day one saying I was evil and I was good.

All I can say is that I'm not a wolf, I'm not a traitor, the only way that first message could be from the Seer is if I'm the tinker, which would in itself be really annoying.

 

I've been the tinker in the past, it's unbelievably frustrating.

 

Stupid to throw names around. Wait for another message, and we know people change up styles.

 

Agreed, hold out for the second message before we do any detective work.

 

There are two possibilities here:

1) I am the tinker, and that was the Seer viewing me.

2) That was the wolf.

Assuming it's the latter because if I'm the tinker that's just life(...), how best the Seer can do me a favour is still up for debate.

I've said before that if they just view me it'll just mean the only info from the messages is about me. I'd vote me if that happened unless something really weird was going on in the thread and someone made a good case for themselves being evil somehow. Either don't view me or be very persuasive somehow please Seer.

Who else is there that come across as suspicious? Well there's WAS, who didn't capitalise once I think. That's pretty weak but could be something. How keen the Seer is to put forward a certain typing style or whatever remains to be seen.

Then there's norniron who was in quite quickly after the message, but again that's weak. I was in fairly quickly too. But then again I did see my username in the message..

I really need the Seer's message to help me here I think... And I also need to not be the tinker.

I'm going to speak as maybe one of the more experienced players of the game. I have been in both positions a number of times and the mimicking of peoples writing styles is a known tactic to use. I would take the style with a pinch of salt for now. Not sure what to make of the message at the moment - will await for further activity.

 

Calm down 352. Wait for the second message. I don't know whether its because you've not played before and you're just panicking or if you do have something to hide but calm down and wait.

It just seems too convenient for a seer to find a wolf/evil person straight off the bat. It's not impossible, but it's not likely either, given the amount of players.

I'd wait for the 2nd message before debating.

I'll take the advice of simms and Daft and just wait for the second message before I post too much again. I think it's a bit easy to go overboard when you're accused because I suppose what else am I supposed to do?

15% chance so unlikely but not improbable. On writing styles I'm not sure but does Diamond have to copy character by character exactly the same into the anon messages? Chance of Kieron being a tinker if he indeed did show up as evil = 20%.

So, so far 352 has been implicated by what may be a seer or wolf message and due to very similar typing styles WAS has also been seemingly implicated, but could also be down to someone else mimicking his typing style.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally, I'll be waiting for that 2nd post so we can better analyse the situation then vote on what then know.

Should be interesting later on.

Seems simple enough to find out! If the 1st message is from the wolf, then all the seer has to do is view With A Smile just in case this writing style suspicion is right, and we have our 1st wolf!!! After all it's never easy 1st day and the seer has to choose someone to view, so why not With A Smile ?

Hi guys - sorry I haven't been on yet. It's my birthday but I still have windows to clean!

 

I get paid with free alcohol to be the pub singer so I'm pretty much hungover constantly.

As others have said, we should wait for a second message before jumping to conclusions.

The reason why I haven't answered is because some of us are working and can't log in all the time. I do find your reaction really really strange, perhaps I was right when I said that you may be nervous !

If you look back at the last game, when I was the seer. on the 2nd or 3rd day you will see that I wrote in the style of TVOR so to try to pin him and Moog together. I wouldn't read too much into writing styles, it something that is commonly used. You'll also find that little phrases, use of specific words, explanation marks, smiley faces, brackets are taken from others and used in messages. That's part of the game, that's what it's all about.

Don't forget that it's both the wolf and the seer's job to keep their identity a mystery as long as hey can.

I would wait for a 2nd message before making any decisions.
