    Only above Lewes by a single point as it stands. Only one side go down, but the ladies have to stop shipping so many goals and try to get a home win. Easier said than I know, and no doubt they are trying very hard. Today they have been good in spells as well. It's a very tough division compared to last season and survival this season would be a target surely.

    Oh ok, I was just going from the current league table and only Lewes are under the dotted line. Not sure if the bottom two above participate in a relegation playoff. Some divisions have done that. Either that or the BBC are to lazy to update their table format.

    They are just too negative. Even at 3-1 down, we are passing around the back and sideways for far too long and we didn't ever get more than 2 in box.

    Played some good stuff, first half but Relegation is a certainty for a team which barely even tries to score.

    Maybe they need to stop watching the men's team. :p They just need another win I think, it does wonders for confidence but they might have to change how they approach games. You cannot play so defensive when your losing. I get trying to not concede another goal, but if you don't attack you will never score. Fingers crossed they can climb the table sooner rather than later.

    Confidence is real. Sluggish until Bennett's goal, but then really played well for remaining 30 of the first half.

    Unfortunately, once they went behind again, it was curtains and the confidence burst like a bubble.

    Feel for them because there's no lack of effort and woman for woman they're not worse than the oppo all the time. Just need confidence and some more positive tactics.

    Honestly, there countless times when a player receives the ball, with space and players in front, but without even looking, they pass it straight back to the centre back or keeper. There's not even a consideration for progressing the ball.

    Yes, which is a stark contrast to the confident free flowing/scoring football of last season. It's almost certainly a step up in quality of opponents but they earned the right to be in the second highest division in the WFL I think your correct about the tactics, they need a more logical format to how they play. Passing it around the back is fine when you are 2/3 goals up and coasting, but we know this team are not as bad as the table suggests. Problem is that table does not lie either, giving it 110% each game is going to be a requirement especially going forward and Lewes winning was obviously another blow to fragile confidence.
