Some seem to believe that the WO is giving too much prominence to stories about Watford FC women. Others don't seem to be able to work out which stories belong to which team

 

£20 quid for 3 of us to watch the game. Free parking, unreserved seating in a nice, small ground.

Would have been about a fiver for all 3 of us if we were ST holders and bought in advance.

Even allowing for the abilities at this level, our team is playing some awful stuff. We pass backward and backwards until someone takes a hopeful punt into some space on the off-chance that something may come off. We have no real point to our play. If we are gonna play hopeful hoofs to our isolated forwards why not do it more often?

We pass around the back yet the defenders gifted the ball to the oppo in our final 3rd at least 6 times.

Red card for Saints in the early stages of the second half, whilst leading 1-0, yet we never looked like we had the extra player. What's more we lost 2-0 and had our coach sent off by a ref who looked determined to make it all about her.

The side needs to abandon this passing across the back for a more direct approach because we simply don't have any threat from the current set up.

 

The chicks never came at all if the fellas came first.

 

I went a couple of times last season and we were a class above both times, perhaps struggling to adapt to a step up in class after promotion?

 

Looks that way from my sample of two games so far.

 

Drew 2-2 at London City but won on pens. Sounds like a much more exciting game! Well done women!

 

Yes, we’re ***** at this level. Unfortunately money is also taking over the women’s game.

We saved a pen on the stroke of HT. Much more exciting game today.

 

Conceded with 3 min to go from a corner. Staring another home defeat in the face.

Lewes miss an open goal from 3 yards.

 

Finishes 1-2 to Lewes. The ladies might be an even harder watch than the men.

Genuinely think we'll get relegated again, which might not be a disaster given how out of our depth we look in the Champ.

 

Lost 5-2 at brum. Another tough day for the female Hornets

 

Home at the Vic next Sunday (19th). It's cheap as chips if you're a ST holder (I'm not). Good for families. Come and support the ladies.

 

Yay! My girls are gonna be mascots for this Sunday's match. They're gonna be so exited. Obviously a full house home match for the men would've been great but this will still be a lovely experience for them.
