Normally I don't care how we win, but this time I feel it's quite important we finally get our first clean sheet. Norwich are the lowest scorers in the Prem by some distance and it could hurt our chances of survival if Norwich score and other teams (if they haven't already) realize how easy it is to score against us - their goal in the reverse fixture came from one of many errors this season, and they scored against us just after this seemingly interminable run without a clean sheet started, when they themselves were in the middle of a run of ten straight defeats and no goals in their other nine games.
Credit where credits due, 10/10 for Sky’s pre game, even down to them showing Caragher clambering up the ladder to the commentary gantry.
Irrelevant. We haven’t won in ages. I don’t care if it’s 10-9. We need 3 points far more than a clean sheet at this point.
Not a bad first half. Just need a creative number 10! Also Sissoko actually makes me laugh out loud his shooting is so bad!
**** me! If we are to get back into this game, someone needs to quickly remind Pedro that we are in a relegation dogfight, and if we are to survive, we will need to play as a team. Sent from my TECNO P701 using Tapatalk
Looked like a foul to me, even though VAR ruled otherwise. Interesting to see it on TV later. The Watford players certainly thought so, and stopped playing for a few seconds.
Not enough in it. If down the other end I’d be upset if not a goal. Face facts were ***** Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Christ! Losing 1-0 to Norwich Reserves. Failure to win tonight dooms us to relegation and the role of Ranieri will be seriously under threat. Bucket shop European transfer signings. We are a shower of sh*t....
Ok so who’s going to be the next journeyman coach through our pathetically embarrassing revolving door. Pozzo out!!!
Sorry everyone - this is the week I decided to bring Dennis into my fantasy team and give him the captain's armband (for the supposed double gameweek with Burnley lol).
The last 20 months or so have been absolutely ******* horrendous. No joy in the sport at all, its just week after week of absolute *****. Ranieri can fark off. He's done absolutely nothing since he's been here and is clearly waiting to get a pay off
**** this rotten, rancid, embarrassment of a club. Pathetic. Spineless. I give more of a **** then every single one of those ****s combined. Ranieri is ****ing finished.
In my opinion, Gino/Duxbury business plan was relegation/parachute payment/ promotion. Well, on course for the first two. Promotion from the Championship will be difficult. The season so far has been one of embarrassment. Fans, Pundits, media outlets have laughed at the club. Our jumble sale transfer dealings, failure to buy any decent defender and no game plan or idea what is our strongest side. Tonight is a low point in supporting this club, a very, very low point. Losing to a weakened Norwich side. Let's just hope as a business, the club has a relegation clause in the contracts. If not, we are heading for liquidation and a freefall down the leagues. Time for Gino to sell, Duxbury to resign and Ranieri to be sacked. I don't want to hear "we can rebuild". We do not have any foundations. You build on uneven ground, then it all falls down. Watford FC 2022 are falling fast. Now 3-0. Our worn out, old midfield signing sticks in an own goal with his Zimmer frame. Will Norwich Reserves score 4? Let's hope so. We are all laughing here. So bad, it is funny. Enjoy your weekend.
Posted this after the Newcastle game, and I think it bears highlighting again, because everything I said in it has absolutely come home to roost in just six days. So, after another gutless performance in which we were clueless in defence, clueless in midfield, clueless in attack, with no clear method of play or system on display, here we are: the most embarrassing evening of an embarrassing season. Rounded off by the real Emmanuel Dennis well and truly standing up. I'm honestly sickened by this, almost as much as I was by watching Ken Sema on the touchline waiting to come on and rescue the game. Don't think there's a single bright spark, even from our 'stars', to be honest. As it stands we have no capacity to even compete at this level. As I said early in the Shoutbox, I can't see how after both a result and a performance like this, Claudio can stay in position. A rapid descent, but I don't see how Gino won't be moved to act. It's very sad and nobody wanted it to go this way, but we have enough of a sample size against relative opposition now to draw some conclusions from the fact that we've seen essentially absolutely no improvement. I was a defender of him and his record, but I just don't see how you can escape it at this point. Also, I wrote this last paragraph before the third goal, so imagine it times a million. @NathWFC did you really have it out with Kucka?
Birmingham, Luton, QPR, Notts Trees etc etc etc Seasons over, get a manager in and tell him to plan for next season in the Championship.
This is worse than Yeovil 3-0 and Coventry 0-0, by far and away the most disastrous result and performance in recent memory Its the kind of result which defines the next 5-10 years of a club. We'll be looking back and talking about tonight in 4 or 5 years when we're losing midweek games in league 1
Sack everyone including that **** who hosts 'hornet hive' - I don't want to see these losers having #bantz with Mooney in a pub quiz.
