Missing Foster again is a concern, we've looked much more assured at the back with him in goal. Kabs in for Cathcart is much of a muchness, though disappointed that we've not gone for Sierralta.
I think we all need to accept that Sierralta is terrible. Ranieri would rather play Kabasele, who is also terrible and hasn't started a game in 4 months, ahead of him.
I’m not. Sierralta has been near hopeless this season and a bit of a liability in and around the box. He’s good aerially but we shouldn’t need that tonight.

It's been discussed before a lot I know, but you do get the feeling CR70 really doesn't rate Sierralta. He must see something in training he doesn't like, and as much as we all want him to succeed at this level, what we have seen overall has been far from convincing. He needs more game time I do agree though, but maybe the Championship was his level? I would certainly not begrudge him a loan move away if he continues to be left out.
Kabasele likely in there for his passing, Ranieri has yet to witness his brain farts, so fingers crossed. Sierralta's positioning has been poor on several occasions. Not sure how he earns Ranieri's trust back.
Tend to agree. People are wary of Nat Phillips because he hasn’t played much at his age - but Sierralta has a similar number of games at a much lower level. Phillips has performed at a much higher level. Seems obvious to me that Sierralta is a decent ‘get rid, head it away’ CB at a certain level but nowhere near good enough when asked to be more.
This is an incredibly stark example of why we need to bring in a new goalie either way (presumably on loan) because we go down one just-about-decent-enough-but-made-of-glass-these-days keeper and we're still straight back in the absolute shyt. Our insane mix of long-termism and short-termism coming back to bite us as ever, where we'll splash cash on a new goalkeeper we won't see for six months who's supposedly coming in to be our Premier League goalkeeper, but are perfectly happy to keep the stretched chuckle brothers around with no remedy, and run the risk every single week of having to field the worst keeper in the league as a result.
Yeah, good in the Championship but the PL looks far too quick for him both mentally and physically. Might be worth keeping around as he has age on his side and he will be useful if we go down, but he isn't the answer for this league.
We all had such high hopes for Sierralta, but it is beginning to look like he might just have been a one season wonder as he can't seem to buy a place in the 1st team at the moment? Or as others have said maybe The Championship is his level? As for tonight Big Ben being out is worrying, but lets hope Bachmann can take his chance and have a great game. Cathcart out and Kabs in would not normally be worrying for me, but as Kabs has been out for so long he could be rusty and with Bachmann behind him I have my concerns. Cleverly in for Kucka is what most on here wanted and Kiko in for Ngakia is OK, if a little unlucky for Ngakia as other than the brain fart for the goal last week he did OK. Therefore if the new boys do as well as they did last weekend, also if Bachmann & Kabs perform OK, and if King & Dennis find their shooting boots again then we should hopefully get three points tonight.

If Kabasele could stop making stupid errors and getting injured, this would probably be a decent cb pairing for the PL. This is probably our fastest pairing too. As for the match, I expect a 3-1 win. I wanted to predict a clean sheet but couldn't because Kabasele and/or Bachman are bound to make at least one error leading to goal. Still I fully expect to outscore them bc they are the worst team in the league.
