This is coaching I think. Rajovic does it too (just a lot more slowly). He always tries to position himself to shut down passing lanes.

 

Would it be too much to give him credit for our goal against Ipswich? Or were they simply far too casual at the back?

 

I thought that this was basics that all pros should know . How to turn a 1 v 2 into a 1 v 1 by shutting down the passing options for the CBs.

 

You'll still see 95% of forwards not doing it when they press though!

 

Brilliant today - hopefully starts from now, would like to see Healey subbed on instead of Raj though. Raj awful again, missed a sitter which is usually his only strong point.

 

Thought this as well, at 3-1 with 30 left the game looked done, Healey would've benefited more from those mins

Bayo is reasonable at most forward play, other than scoring. Big Raj is crap at most play, but he seems able to find the onion net on a regular basis.

Ergo the answer must be to play them together up front, then we will have a near perfect striker!!!

If only
