Just passing on some information which some may find interesting. Empty vessels are the jerks that constantly try to highjack decent posts in order to belittle them for no good reason. I guess you're so offended by a remark I made a few months ago as you feel it must apply to yourself?
So a reliable source is now one who describes themselves as "Thatcherite. Feminist. Atheist. Firm believer in Jesus Christ" on their Twitter bio? Couldn't be a parody/wind-up account, surely...

Spoke to a girl who works for a football agency yesterday who claimed Deeney has bought a house in Leicester and she was helping in the search for schools.
I call BS. Why would he buy a house in Leicester when he has had his house in Birmingham all the time he has been playing for us? Or maybe I am just in denial.
Why would you buy a house in Leicester if you had to work there too? Surely you wouldn't want to be there 24/7? Masochism.
As I said on the other thread Forest echo news is a fake news trolling site. Google it if you don't believe me! Leicester apparently want Shane Long, which if they got him IMO would end any interest in Troy.
I asked him at the awards night if he was staying and he referred me to a press man from the club standing next to him. So I asked him and he laughed and said why does he think I should answer that. If he goes good luck to him he owes us nothing, and I hope it turns out well for him. Football is a mercenary if lucrative profession. One day soon a better player will take his place and he will be out the door. If he is interested in managing after his playing days I would like to see him as our Head Coach, until then he should make the decisions that are best for his career. If Leicester are fearful of losing their best players I see no reason why the same pressures will not shape the future of our best players. Opportunities to improve your standing in the profession and financial security will always come into play. We lost Luther and bought Mo Johnston and who knows how these things will turnout if Troy moved on too.
Supposedly Spurs want him according to the ever reliable Sun http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...empt-to-get-quality-cover-for-Harry-Kane.html
Unless Kane got injured, Deeney would be a permanent bench warmer. Not sure he would be prepared to do that even for Champions League football.
I'm sure Spurs want the guy who gave it away more times than any other player last season, it's not like they play possession football.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo, this cannot be! However, if there is any truth in this rumour I fear this would be one move Deeney might not be able to resist :dismay::dismay::dismay:
I reckon he would well prepared to do this. He would definitely get game time as they will be playing so many games! Cant imagine that would be in for him as they could get a better younger option.
Love it. "Deeney is angry by sacking of Flores in decision he called crazy". 1. Put his comments into context - he didn't say that one particular decision was crazy - more that football is crazy. 2. He works so closely with Gino and Duxbury - no doubt he knows the rationale behind it. 3. He was at the training ground when Mazzarri was appointed. He is more than just the club captain. Slap a £30mill price tag on - scare the rest of them off - give him whatever contract he wants. :drinking:
Again, can't see Spurs paying what we'd want for him regardless of whether they actually want him or not.
Could be something in this. I believe Spurs' training ground is just 20 minutes from Deeney's Hertfordshire home.
More malicious gossip from the Sun. Don't believe everything you read. Anyway I believe he is looking to move home back to the midlands and is already looking at schools there, so would be more than 20 minutes.
He already has a house there and I thought his wife etc live up there anyway? Sure I read that he drives down from brum each day.
If Deeney was going to even consider Spurs i am sure he would ask Gomes about it. He did not have a happy time as reserve, and neither did Capoue!
Leicester are delusional, Spurts are just trying to annoy us and gain leverage on their real targets.
much will depend on: A) if Deeney's role at Watford is something he would want to leave. There's a lot to say for being a big fish in a small pond B) whether he buys into the Pozzo future plan
I am 100% convinced Deeney will be with us next season. He's got more sway at our club than I can ever recall hearing a player has had at any other club, and that's not easily replaced. He might be able to get a bigger contract elsewhere, but he certainly won't get the influence he has at Watford. That's hard to walk away from in any job.
I hear this a lot and I think it's slightly delusional. He will know that if he has a (relatively) 'big' move in him, he only has one. He would leave this club in a flash if it means ticking off a career aim and playing for a side which will give him some European appearances and/or a shot at a medal. Ergo - I think if Leicester or Spurs meet the club's demands, you don't even need to ask the question of 'would he go'? Of course he would! End of.
You/we have no idea on what his aspirations are. If money is the be all and end all then can the Pozzos match other advances. If Chump League is the be all and end all then does he think he can get it at Watford (doubtful). Maybe, just maybe, he very happy with his current position End of.....
You really are unbearable. Do you even think before you type irrelevant stuff that doesn't make sense?
http://www.squawka.com/news/troy-de...sses-in-the-premier-league-this-season/679850 Just going by this. Don't see how it's irrelevant, if he can't keep hold of the ball then he's not a Spurs player. If you don't like what I've got to say then use the ignore button idiot.
