Wonder how Graham and Sordell are feeling...
Time for a statue of the great man outside the Vic.
TROY DEENEY is Watford's #9 tra la la la laa la laa TROY DEENEY is Watford's #9
Coincidentally Marvin also signed a new contract today, for the mighty Cov.
I feel sorry for Walsall.:dismay:
Get in there Troy my son! absolutely fantastic piece of business by the club. What a time to be a Watford fc fan, what a time to be alive! I'm going to have a very good drink tonight on the back of this news.
They are just copying Boris
Can we please get a comment from the Walsall Chairman?
He must be gutted - That's now the 4th new contract deal Troy has signed.
Good lord, did that just happen?
We should send the poor man some salad from the Russos or summat, just as a consolation gift...
Not me. They raped us over the transfer fee in the first place. This is sweet justice
*stuck with the club for big money when other big money offers came in.
Either way, good news. Troy will be vital to any success we have this coming season.
Well I'm dashed!
Well played all!
I'm as happy as a happy bloke on happy pills!! :jumping1:
Troy either fookin loves us or fookin hates Walsall
A M A Z I N G :mengoal:
When top players look at lil ol Watford and see we've turned down huge offers for our Troy and Iggy it shows our ambition and could be a tipping point ...
Cue more top players on their way in this summer ...
Blissett was quite happy to stay ... it was GT himself who convinced him he should go
I suppose so, with the money Walsall would surely have been favourites for promotion this season having come so close last one.
I think he'll just have to resign himself to the fact that we're not little ol' selling club Watford anymore and they may never get the money, honestly wouldn't put it past our beloved club being Troy's last!
Well if he sees out this 5 year contract he will be 33 so there is every chance it might be. And I wouldn't be surprtised if they don't keep him on then, in some sort of coaching/motivational/ambassadorial capacity.
I'm sure he said he wants to finish his career with Birmingham.
If Troy plays as well this season as the last, they'll be bigger teams with larger offers than Leicester, wanting his signature
He can scout for the Pozzo network in borstals.
Don't care who leaves or who joins this is the one player that we needed to keep at all costs.
Im sure The Pozzos will enjoy telling big clubs to fek off
So is this the reason for this piece of tat/memorabilia currently on sale?
Leicester Journo seems pretty confident he has a get out clause in January if certain things happen/clauses are met. No idea what the clauses are though.
Was checking Deeneys stats on Transfermarkt .
His time at one of the HMPs holiday camps was described as a career break but the best bit is the describing symbol , meant to be a pause sign it seems , looks remarkably like a prison cell bars
