Tuanzebe is an injury risk waiting to happen. Longstaff is our injured. Styles would be a top signing. Decent piece written while Leeds were showing interest in him. https://allstatsarentwe.medium.com/summer-scouting-callum-styles-4f403b056d5c
With us being linked with George Bello, what’s team mate Robin Hack like? Has 10 goals and 5 assists this season.
How I think we could shape and up and needed depth. This assumes: GK: Bachmann, Okoye leave CB: Kabasele, WTE leave CM: Quina leave RW / LW: Sarr, Kalu, Baah leave. Hungbo loan ST: Pussetto, Fletcher leave. Forde, Adeyemo loan.
Yes other than the fact we won’t sign Styles…..or Healey….or Gue-sung…or the new GK….oh and or the new CB…and I think you have it.
Santiago Hezze off to Anderlecht for around €8mil. I know we can’t afford that, but that’s such a good deal. He will be sold in 2/3 years time for €20mil+.
Very disappointing. Liked him greatly at Huracan and recommended him as a DM candidate for us a year a go. Never mind. Luke Matheson might be a bet. Still very young. England youth international. Played at Scunny in the NL under his former boss. Career beset by injury but I liked the look of him as an attacking FB/WB at seventeen. A bet but one we could take.
A QPR ITK account is reporting that we are interested in Chris Willock. Has one year left and it’s all soured for him there. Could be available for a very low fee. He’s had his fitness issues but about 12-18 months ago looked like he was the best player in the league.
Is that how the scouting works these days? A bit like Tinder. You pick a profile you like, give it a wink, and if they respond you start talking. Seems like this one is at the early stages.
No, my sources tell me you've not kept seeing Nathan Redmond rumours flying about. Make of that what you will.
I'd be very pleased with Redmond signing on. Have a colleague who's a Saints fan who says he'd be excellent at this level.
Traore looks the business but as my son said don't expect him to win a header. A pocket rocket you ou could say.
Yeah not sure where Bennie Traore fits. We’re clearly still after a big striker, and we’ve already signed Healey (who isn’t small but is more of a nippy, off the shoulder type).
But with his injury record, it would make sense to have a goal scoring 20 yr old, with plenty of potential on hand just incase. Nothing wrong with having him come off the bench for the last 15-20mins of games to run at tired defences. If we go into the season with Cho Gue-Sung, Healey, Traore and Bayo as our striking options, then fair play to Gino. I don’t think it will happen though. Personally think the Gue-Sung signing isn’t happening, too much noise around it now. So I expect us to sign another big striker like Andy Carroll for peanuts instead.
I think Bennie Traore will be expecting a better move/demand a higher fee that we’d pay for a backup/substitute. I reckon if not Cho we’ll get some other big striker like Kieffer Moore. Just a hunch but Ismael has used different systems but a consistent thread is a lamppost up front.
Traore looks like a boy playing against men. Don't let that put you off though. Great balance and good speed. Scandinavia is a hotbed for young African players as it's been for years.
Well Udinese are after a player I championed a while back Lorenzo Luca. Imagine a young Peter Crouch but with more quality. He's 6-7 and no slouch. Was getting knocked off the ball a little easily back then but has developed. Was at Ajax last season and it doesn't seemed to of worked for him there.
Was wondering if there's a chance he ends up here on loan if they keep Beto. These days we can't seem to get anyone from Udinese though.
Looks perfect! At least we're aware of him if our head scout follows on instragram, although pretty certain he'll end up somewhere bigger.
