does this transfer window and not signing anyone in it affect us? Couldnt the Pozzos just send a player over they want for watford from Udinese or Granada any time they wanted?
Today is Thursday and we all know nothing happens here on a Thursday..!! You've all completely wasted your day.
Anyone else remember the Cole/Gallas and Reyes/Baptista sagas a few years back? There were some great deadline days around that time.
I'm just getting a flurry of chatter on the wire. Something could be about to happen imminently.........
Simon Jordan on SSN? I've actually found him and Quinn quite interesting. They're much better than people who've never been in the situation.
I wouldn't call it boring, 'arry has added another £280,000 a week to QPRs wage bill. Put it in perspective that's £14,560,000 a year. God bless him.
That would've been about £400k if he'd managed to get Bentley and Odemwingie too. That would've been over £20mil a year.
Whilst I'm very surprised no one has signed a new contract, and I'm not just talking about the loan players, it has to be considered a very good transfer window. We had a lot of interest in Vydra, but the Pozzo's resisted that and he's with us for the remainder of the season no matter what. We've extended Chalobah's loan until the end of the season and have signed potentially/arguably the best player we've ever signed (Fernando Forestieri) on a 5.5 year contract. All in all it has been an understated success. We can now all look forward to the loan window opening on the 8th Feb ....
A Championship club with a chance of going and run by good people are interested in signing Boyd from Peterborough. Not the sort of player we'd be looking at is it?
Could it be at all possible that deals have been done, just not released to the media yet? Quite dejected following comments yesterday on here that today was going to be a 'big day' for us as a club with signings coming in! Three points on Saturday and then the big push for the PL - COYH
