Apart from the 20 or so wannabe hoolies who ran down from the top of the Rookery yesterday to try and go to the Vicarage Road 'cause those fooks woz having ago at the kidz'. Came back 5 mins later after they realised they could not get out of the ground and in again!

 

yeah, i apologise on behalf of those 10 people that though they were 'well ard', i hope that they learnt the error of their ways. Hopefully we can brush that aside and turn a blind eye.

There was 10 kids that went followed the biggest one....and they are nothing to do with that lot anyway.

 

I know you guys are not like that Doyleyftw and one of you lot gave them a right good rollocking for being naughty boys. The Yellow order are doing a great job, really livens the atmosphere but of course with the good, comes the bad sometimes.

Firstly I would like to thank all of you who have been in support of us. It means alot to us that we build a good relationship with our fellow fans, and that we cater for everybody's ideas of a 'good atmosphere'. For those people who we still haven't managed to win round, what would you like to see? How can we improve your experience on matchday? Obviously we are trying to reach the balance of providing good support for the team, and pleasing the other fans too. All types of feedback are much appreciated and you can get that across to us on here, our facebook page ( watfordultras@groups.facebook.com - excuse the name, I hope that has been cleared up by now), our forum ( theyelloworder.proboards.com ) or by email at ( the-yellow-order@hotmail.co.uk ).

For everybody who has considered coming up to RS4 but are worried they don't know anybody, or how they will be greeted. Don't be worried. We welcome new faces every week. Speaking from personal experience, I was coming up to Watford with my younger brother for 3/4 years and didn't know anybody at all from north of the River Thames. In the time this group has been established, I have got to know many of the guys who come regularly to games, young and old, chavy and non-chavy. But it has been a good laugh getting to know these lads, and general makes matchday alot more enjoyable for me.

We are contemplating doing some sort of visual display at home against QPR. Obviously primarily to support the team, but also to repay you guys for the faith and patience then rest of the fans have had with us. We are thinking about hand out streamers/confetti to people as they come in through the turnstiles. There won't be anything stupid like flares or any of that nonsense. Is there anything else you can suggest that will not be too pricey? We will hope to get all the banners and flags for this game as well. If we handed balloons to the parents of younger kids (who they could be a hazard to), would that be something you would take part in, or is it not worth it?

you actually need to reach out to the supporter base as a whole. I cant believe the number of big watford fans I talk to that have still never heard of you and your plans.

Get on the Watford Mailing List, Supporters Trust, other fan sites (we set up a Yellow Order section on Gloryhorns and had almost zero interest from you guys so I took it down), and even get something on the WFC fishal site.

 

Surely, If you aim is to drum up support then turning up to games might be a place to start. And not just games within the M25?!

 

Will you be at the Ipswich game tomorrow night? it would be a good chance for many to see who you are and the atmosphere in the Watford fans away from home is generally better anyway so more people joining in.

 

How on earth singing a bad rock quicker will turn Vicarage road into a fortress, I will never no.

I wont even begin to talk about the other monstrosity of what sounds like loud humming.

They are a laughing stock because they keep doing things like this.

 

I will be, as I was at Swansea a week ago and will be at Boro on Saturday.
Are away following is dreadful it has steadily been declining ever since the premiership season.

 

I have always been of the impression that we have a good away following in terms of percentage of our home support.

Maybe away games are a good breeding ground for the yellow order to get your faces known and get people singing.

 

How do you propose to improve atmosphere then?

At least they are giving it a go, seem well organised and care about the club. I for one will be joining them.

 

Well on avg 12/13000 home fans. 866 at Palace, 300 odd at burnley, 166 at swansea..

Care about the club? Their ''Leader'' attenders 2/3 games a season. They only turn for the big game.. ''Ooh millwall on saturday, lets make it a big one lads, yellow here there and everywhere'' They seem to forget your S****horpes and and your Prestons, not forgetting only attending away games they can get to using there oyster card!
