He's a chauffeur and part time actor in Brighton the last I heard. I'm looking for him for a legends interview as he one of my earliest memories of being at Watford was him being booed every week when the subs were read out.

 

any chance of colin west or mark falco , for me they were my two biggest `heroes` at that age back then , i honestly thought that falco especially was one of the best players we have ever had

Again last night the yellow order consisted of youths who want to be in a football "firm". The majority i had never seen before in my years as a season ticket in rs4. The best example being the scummy w****r who in response to being told to sit down by the man behind me, who must be pushing 60 and couldn't see the game, got in his face and repeatedly screamed at him to f**k off a****st many other obscenities. These are not the types of fan i would like to see at the vic, regardless of how much noise they make.

 

He was never brilliant.

Good going forward (e.g.Leicester last season), but always suspect with a good winger running at him???

You of all people, should know this.

He has since gone backwards.

Lacks the confidence to go forward, and is a real liabilty at defending.

Brown realised this on Tues, and told Treacy to run the poor lad ragged!

Needs to be taken out of the firing line like young Bennett.

Cowie could do a better job at LB, like Wilf Rostron used to do as a left wing-back.

 

The only defence (pardon the pun) I can offer him is that the team was flying early on in the season but he has only really got back in the team since the 'wobble' started.

Wilf was before my time. But generally as a wing back, I would think Cowie certainly has the energy but maybe lacks the pace to do it and if you played wingbacks I think we would be exposed on the other flank as Buckley isn't defensively minded at all. Cowie already does well defensively I think, so let him do it naturally rather than making it his role.

 

Yes, I agree in the main.

But if Cowie can sort out our LB problem until Malky finds a decent replacement, Lloyd can return to the right and give Buckley the cover he needs.

Not having a decent LB not only destoys the balance down the left side of things, it also has a massive impact on the RB position.

Why hasn't Malky acted sooner to cover this, because it has taken our season from a potential push for the play-offs into mid-table mediocrity?

 

Being kept waiting for an answer an Taylor didn't help, and since that has gone up the swanny I would be surprised if there wasn't a LB due in shortly.

I thought the ultras made good noise yesterday, presuming they were that lot at the back bouncing up and down and waving their scarves.

That's a shame as this would have been the ideal time to create something unique to us. Mimicking a Palace song is not the way to go.
