I can’t overstate this enough. I’ve only been watching since about 60 mins but they just look completely devoid of ideas except trying hoon it from miles out. Utterly dire.

Ffs Chelsea. Everton are complete toss and they’ve beaten Man Utd and Chelsea. FA fix to keep them up.

Fingers crossed their schedule catches up with them. Despicable club and fans. Richarlison is beyond redemption.

***** pretending to be injured then running on to celebrate. Utter winker. He'll be off in the summer no doubt so the blue scousers can cry into their fried breakfasts.

    Never forget 84.

Not bothered about winning at all. They were pathetic. Probably match fixed for their mate Franky Lamps.

That will put a damper on those Burnley celebrations yesterday!

Everton and Pickford deserve the win.

    Chelsea awful .

It wan't. The Yellows let us down. Again.

Watching them coming forward with no idea on how to get through that defence, safe passes back to a team-mate or hopeful punts into the box, and all that after giving away the winning goal through a grotesque defensive error, exactly whst you expect from a team in yellow.

Everton are still in the bottom three despite the win, but it does bring Leeds and Burnley back into contention now. It does look like whether Everton survive is going to be judged by their game in hand. Which is against the meanest defense in the PL and the best strikers seen since the golden age of Alex Ferguson.

Palace could relegate us and Everton in their next 3 games. What an honour.

Everton are actually unbeaten at home under Lampard.

Their survival or not could well depend on whether they can get something on the road next week.

They go to a Leicester side who could be deflated from a European exit, and then play their final away match of the season a few days later, before two home games. Can’t remember who their last away match is against lol but no doubt it will be when they finally win on the road again.

I hate football. It’s awful right now.

Two horrid teams romping the league, with the refs/ var officials/ media giving them everything.

A third horrible club doing well enough to be solidly in 3rd, and only lose against teams I despise.

The media laughing at Everton fans stealing balls and setting off fireworks outside hotels. You bet that if they are trying to survive on the final day, they’ll try to attack opposition team bus and sky will praise their passion.

The law makers ignoring time wasting and injury feigning means that we’ve lost 5% of time time the ball is in play during the 90 minutes over the last 5-10 years.

Gambling and cryptocurrency snake oil sellers and dictator sportswashers on every advert, stadium and shirt.

And Watford FC is a soulless, depressing place, with senior administrators who continue to make corrupt and/or short-sighted decision making that is undoing all of their great work and risking our future.

If it wasn’t for FPL, I’m not even sure I’d still be watching games this season. When you prefer the F1 to football, something has seriously gone wrong.

Even cocked that up this week - replacing Son with Salah.

    Oh well...

How amusing do they find it when foreign fans do that to an English team?

Probably have Palace sending us down then Richarlinson coming along to really rub salt into the wounds - or Doucoure the week after.

Sent down by Palace (with Hodgson grinning along on the sidelines), Everton escaping, Muff promoted automatically and Luton up via playoffs. Happy days.

If a newly promoted club did it to a scouse side, there would be a national inquest.

Unlikely to get dragged it but with just 3 games left Southampton will quickly want to get that extra point or so/hope teams below don't win their game in hand.

HB1 might say it's a bit like our situation under Walter....

Chelsea looked like a team with nothing to play for in the league and an FA Cup final on their mind.

If Leeds go down you'll get some of their their fans saying Marcelo Bielsa would have kept them up.

Heard one saying he clapped the team off when they lost 7-0 to Man City but was disgusted by their 0-0 draw at Palace as the football was so poor etc!

Actually they also play at Arsenal on the final day of the season, so we are not their final away game this season.

If Everton do win at the Vic, it will mean we’ve lost at home to all six of the sides currently with us in the bottom seven.

Everton have won once away all season.

They’re going to really enjoy next week.

yeah but didn’t you see Jordan Pickford make the save of the century WITH HIS FACE and then hear Jamie Redknapp call the Premier League the best in the world. And yesterday Jake Humphrey explained really quite clearly that critics of Newcastle’s Saudi takeover have been proved wrong because the team has been winning therefore it can’t be a bad thing.

Talking about idiots in the footballing TV media, can anyone remind me who was it who said during Sky's coverage of our humiliation against Norwich that their win coupled with their home win against Everton (the wins being against two of the most out-of-form teams in the Prem, especially away and at home - anyone notice a connection there?) would really put the fear into the teams above them? And they've picked up just one win with many more defeats since and have been relegated with four games to spare - surely anyone with an iota of football knowledge could have seen that coming. Or was it more the case of "let's conjure up a scenario of a great escape that actually has no chance of happening and not let reality get in the way of entertaining TV for our millions of Sky viewers"?

I heard similar elsewhere. After an initial "is it right mass murdering state can sportwash" debate, the media have now moved onto how great it is to see Newcastle revived and ready to challenge the top teams. They are even puzzled at how adding players like Trippier and Guimares on 100k+ a week, they seem to be better than when Bruce was running a sinking ship, miracle at the Toon isn't it for the moment.

Would be unfair if Richarlison banned for three games for throwing the flare back into the crowd that threw it originally on to the pitch. The boy was only returning to type after all, and helpful returning the crowds property to them.

personally not bothered if it’s a Leeds or Everton joining us in the Championship. I think both could go either way - romp that league on implode under the distress of relegation.

if Chelsea fail to retain top four. Would that mean that the experts who describe Tuchel as an elite manager, will be discussing his sacking in May?

I would be happy with either of these coming down with us - I really hope it’s one of them in that third spot rather than Burnley, who I would be happy to see stay up.
