Morning all to the survivors. Are we villagers or crew this time?

 

Doubt it. Would be unfair to give anything away at this stage and compromise anyone's role.

 

If you wiki the actual date at the top (22nd June 1805) with shipwrecks it brings up a list of recorded ones. The one for this particular date could well be our first clue?

 

Any danger of a message to liven things up?

A tip from previous games are that the bad guys are usually very very quiet in the first few days. This is a huge flag.

 

Not sure of the total number of players in this game but there are always a few on Day 1 that just forget to play too, good or bad! I think every game I've played has had a first day lynching of someone who forgot they'd signed up.

 

Perhaps both on and with! Maybe even at the same time!

By which token, I think I've seen a post from all but HappyHornet24 and BRLR...? Decent activity for Day 1 Morning minus the lack of messages...

Yeah without messages, the activity is all pretty spurious though isn't it?

It's hard enough to decide on Day 1 even with messages. Without them it's pure guesswork.

I suspect that the Seer and Wolf are probably playing a game of waiting to see who goes first, as the person who goes second can contradict the first message.

 

You've always got Opti's decapacitated head, if boredom really creeps in?

 

As a prior Alpha, this was certainly the tactic I used, and the game went pretty deep. So no surprises to see the same again.

 

The two times I ran the game I had two rules, both must message in the first two days and be sent before 1pm, otherwise the first couple of days got tedious.

 

So we've got a patient but boring seer. Yawn.

 

I've walked this island so many times now I feel like Harry the Hornet walking around the Vic on matchday. Millions of steps completely unnoticed.

 

I never know who is best posting 1st - the seer and then the wolf can counter or even not bother posting
or the wolf just to cause mayhem and stir allegation

if its a slow day there is always the good old message interpretation and mud slinging to fall back on, late afternoon.
