At what point is it acceptable to start throwing wild accusations around? It's been a good period of time since we last played... I'm a little rusty.

I thought the added humour would detract from the monotony. Apologies. Dead-pan it is from this point forward.

 

Here's a wild accusation. Burnsey mentioned the "Wilson" football in the Tom Hanks movie on the first page, nothing much since, then 3 pages later so did BigRossLittleRoss, but with an odd message attached, (post 99). Is that a traitor connecting with a Wolf?

 

Dammit, my wild accusation wasn't the first.

 

2nd message

Good afternoon, my fellow crew members.

The first day is always tricky. I decided to go for a simple viewing. I viewed Cthulhu as he was named and I can confirm he is indeed Good.

I'm sorry I wasn't much more help here, I didn't want to pick a random player. Players will reveal themselves more moving forward which will allow more strategic viewings. My best advice, for now, would be to pick an inactive player, history shows they're more likely to be evil and if they are not then at least it is only minimal damage as we lose someone who wasn't helping Team Good anyway.

I think the Castaway/Tom Hanks clue is pretty clear from the last sentence in the first message. Also I dont think my attached message was odd. Just plainly stating what I saw in the clue.

Strange for an experienced player like you to jump in there with a very spurious connection.

Neutral message with nothing for us to go on. If this is the seer then its not very helpful which makes me think that the first message is the seer with a clear clue at the end.

Is it me or is that second message really unhelpful?

 

All we can say is that Cthulhu (you know, the sea monster that sunk this ship in the first place, ****ing up EVERYTHING) is actually quite nice.

 

Certainly doesn't tell us a lot, other than that we can pretty safely assume Cthulhu is good...

E Dupe... any ideas? A quick google tells me this may translate to "Thank You", or be a song title of some sort.

Im going to lay my thoughts out, could be completely wrong of course.

The first message is the seer and the last line is a clear reference to Wilson the ball from Castaway that Tom Hanks draws a face onto. "I have t' see me face on th' pitch, Wilson"

There is a player called Tom. Sorry Tom if Im completely wrong, but nothing else to go on because the second message has no clue in it apart from the rather strange sign off " E Dupe"

 

Except we are 99% that Cthulhu is good. It also gives the guardian an option this evening if they wish

 

Suspicious how the sea monster that clearly sunk our ship has been mentioned as good in both messages.
