    indeed, but at the start of next season (17/18) the date will change to 1st January 1996. I'm sure there are other players we have registered as U21's who probably fall into the same category.

    Yes and when the date changes for 17/18 he still counts as U21 by virtue of being born on or after 1 January 1996. Unless I've totally misunderstood ???
