Interesting to see some of the support for both camps. Clearly some players know more than others and it's a question of filtering out the propaganda. I was wavering until SLB declared himself a harlot. That should be a last resort for a real harlot as you're putting others in danger. No such concerns if you're evil though.

 

The Harlot was a new role in the last game, are we sure that we have one in this game ?

The Harlot would only be confirmed if a Wolf targeted him while he was 'away' or if he stays with a Wolf or Traitor. Unfortunately for me last game I was targeted on the first night which immediately gave away my identity.

I can't disagree with this logic, unless there is no harlot or the role has changed.

If anyone were the harlot they'd leave it to the last moment to 'Out' themselves. If SLB were good they would be playing a poor game.

 

Yes it is, but if the harlot identified that person as safe-ish then I'm sure the wolves won't be far behind in sniffing the same.

 

I may have missed this as I didn't find it on the rules thread, but what exactly does the Harlot do? I couldn't play in the last game.

Last resort is having the majority of the vote come a time where you are able to sway the remaining voters the other way.

 

A last resort would have been waiting till a few of the 20+ votes had been cast to get a feel for which way it was going.
If DR is evil and was lynched tonight then, based on Ashdon last night, the wolf would have seen you as easy pray and gone for you tonight, but you would have survived.
As it is IF DR gets lynched then the wolf is likely to leave you along and take out another villager

 

I've been reviewing yesterday's messages as we know that Norway was evil. I think we have an inexperienced traitor and today's posts confirm it (in my mind anyway)

It would be desperately unlucky for both the last game and this game for the two named evils on a day turn out to be good.

Is SLB believable that he's the harlot? The only way to find out would be to allow him to live and hope the wolf goes for him while he's out, or conversely visit the wolf or visit a wolf choice.

 

Think your right @HappyHornet24 the longer the day goes on, if no one else comes forward it does make SLB claim more real

I'm a simple villager... your logic is sound WAS so I won't dispute that. What I do dispute is the conjecture SLB is trying to throw in your face. This is a 50/50 decision, I could have come out and told you I was actually the harlot, but that would be a lie. If there is a harlot, cool. Probably should come out and tell the world that SLB is lying, but I understand if they don't. Go for me, you'll see I'm GOOD this evening and I'll relish the write up stringing up SLB tomorrow.

 

With A Smile that's also what I'm concerned about, but evil players in the past have played it cool and gotten away with it. Daft Row is an experienced Wolfer and I would expect that he knows that his best chance might be to say less.

As he says he can't argue with the logic. If another Harlot doesn't come forward he has to go simple as, if he is the tinker then its incredibly bad luck and Harrow Orn deserved the miserable death he got in the prologue!

 

It is still a 50/50 though Opti, that cannot be denied. Also this is my third game.

 

If you want a clear indicator, just look at the posts today from Daft Row and me. I have set out in clear, logical detail why I think it's possible to work out who today's messages are from. If you genuinely think that the Wolf copying the Seer's style from yesterday and the Seer copying the Wolf's style is more likely than them both sticking to the same style then there's not much more I can say to convince you. I would ask again though, why would the Seer do that?

I have also had no problem outing myself as the Harlot, as it doesn't put anyone else at risk and I've presumed there is only one harlot so thought another one won't step forward.

Daft Row on the other hand, has nothing to back up his argument other than it's "50/50" and please don't kill him because he died in harsh circumstances last time. He says don't go with your gut in one sentence but then says it's 50/50... it's desperation speaking.

 

Surprised we're in such a situation so early on, if we're wrong though obviously gives wolfy a kill before we hopefully get him tomorrow... surely can't be the tinker situation all over again.

 

There is no logic in your conjecture. The only logic is 50/50 which is why I have repeated that, the stupidity shown by my fellow villagers two games in a row is so frustrating.

The 'logic' you have disseminated to create confusion and is a standard wolf tactic. That wasn't working very well so you said you were the Harlot, not very convincing in my opinion but we'll have to wait and see.

 

Happy has a tendency to come across very reasoned and "nice" whilst being quietly efficient. This means people tend to listen to her posts and follow.

You were almost certain of my guilt last game and then played the "ah I got it wrong, damn sorry well played" card, once I was lynched and revealed as innocent.

If Daft Row was furry, then why didn't he claim to be the harlot? To me the unique position of harlot leads them to make themselves known.

Am I right? If so it's got to be one of them 3 and nobody else IMO so we can get a better idea of which message is which. So if one message one said Ashdon is good and he has proven to be so, surely it's got to be Diamond next or am I missing something obvious?

 

Only if they're called out as Evil or caught 'away' when attacked.

Or killed by the traitor or wolf.
