And the Pozzos are probably a very good contact for agents to have due to the repeat business that will inevitably come their way should they deliver the goods without all the normal agent hassle. Probably explains why we seem to have little trouble signing quality players at a reasonable price.

Sounds very promising. What the hell difference does it make what the agent looks like. He seems like a good contact to have. If this boy lives up to his promise and the other signings gel, survival (and more) becomes a distinct possibility.

 

It makes no difference at all! He has good clients and a good relationship with our club..that's the important thing

In that pic Balotelli reminds me of Family Guys' Brian, when he dresses up as a rapper to attract women

This would tend to suggest that the official announcement is imminent. Going to try and find out what WDSport is?

There appears to be no contact info or names anywhere actually on the site, the domain is registered to someone in Hemel.

There was a thread on this about a week ago. Short version: Kevin Affleck worked at the WO, left for reasons that people disagree over, worked for a sports media outfit in Dubai and has now returned to run WDSports. Some doubts about whether WD has a sustainable business model.

I think WD is a really useful site and that it has been better than the WO for Hornets coverage this summer. This is one of those areas where competition between the two can make them both better.

 

That's not strictly correct because every article has the name of the author and at the moment on the front page alone Kevin Affleck (x2), Gary Meenaghan (x2) & David Anderson are credited.

If you click on the name it doubles as a link taking you to other articles written by that person.

 

I think this is Afflecks personal mission for revenge on the WO following the goings on previously.
Personally think Afflecks a good journalist and has great links into the club.
He's very pally with the Russos and they seem to have some sort of relationship with the Pozzos seeing as they were invited to the play-off final.

 

Don't care who will win in the end but WDSports are kicking Wobby's arse all over the place on coverage and exclusivity side. Feel WO has declined since Frank Smith left.

 

I've been most impressed with their 40th formula water dispersant and household oil.

 

Interesting that WD managed to get an interview with QSF after Dundee but the WO couldn't...

 

I've heard that the Russo's and the Pozzo's all live together in a big mansion as they are so close. They regularly have Gladiator style contests and bring in John Fashanu to PA.
