In all seriousness, why? Just why? He has a poor to, at best, an average goalscoring record in lesser leagues, hence being linked to Championship sides, and as mentioned by others is another big, immobile lump. He's also 27 so not exactly one for the future. Panic buy.
This one's on English, which is nice of them. Claims Sunderland, Palarse and Swansea were also interested. http://sportwitness.co.uk/watford-one-step-away-signing-sunderland-target-player-set-medical/
The one real positive about it is that it's direct competition for Deeney & Ighalo as a centre forward. Both need to up their game, especially Deeney. I think this could be a decent move. Looks a handful to deal with physically and would probably suit the Premiership. Not sure he's going to bang in 20 goals, but then as I said above, it should motivate Deeney and Ighalo to do that anyway.
I couldn't agree more Nath. We need someone with pace and guile to play off a big lump hold the ball target striker if we persist with 3-5-2.He's certainly not worth even half the reported transfer fee.
https://www.anderlecht-online.be/en/article/145984 15 in 35 for Anderlecht. Medical today. May go to Udinese.
Selected for Italy by Conte. 1 goal. Anderlect article mentions disciplinary problems, maybe angling for move.
Last post in the other thread was 13 months ago. Sorry I forgot about it! Anyway, here's the obligatory video.
Seems to have added some goals to his game in 2016.
Will support him but pretty underwhelming if true. Not going to threaten our front two in the slightest and will make a handful of goalless late appearances before joining Palermo next year. Was recently accused of being overweight so at least Troy might have a McDonalds pal. Was hoping Vydras replacement would either be younger or at least a danger to our current two.
The Italy international scored 15 goals in 37 League appearances for Anderlecht last season as the Belgians finished runners-up to Club Brugge. However, he has yet to appear for the club in 2016-17 and is said to have been punished for rejecting a lucrative move to Jiangsu Suning, while his brother was recently forced to deny he was overweight.
Don't remember him being loan at Fulham. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/as...ding-the-chase-for-prolific-italian-frontman/
From Fulham forum 6 years ago! RidgeRider Guest Re: Okaka status « Reply #2 on: April 05, 2010, 03:11:53 PM » He was limping pretty good coming off yesterday. The ONLY thing that worries me about Okaka, is his fitness. He is a little lumpy. Roy has the body fat % down on just about everyone on the team. Okaka looks like he spends too much time at McDonalds. If he sticks with us, look to see him come into next season with a leaner body. He is carrying 15 pounds he doesn't need which is usually a sign of a young player with loads of talent but lacks discipline. May not be the case at all but........I am just saying.
Definitely not a panic buy, as the club have been after him for a while Agreed, he looks crap though. Looks like a superb potential boo boy. Iwelumo-esque
another i aint seen. but if what all u experts is saying is true then i have a feeling he wont have been brought for us he's off to one of the sisters i rekon.
Wouldn't have been my choice either, but he hardly needs to be Sergio Aguero to threaten our current two on current form.
Don't think he's for us We're replacing TD and OI with a 1 tonne bag of hard core and a Sainsburys shopping trolley An improvement in movement and goals is instantly expected
Thoroughly depressing weekend. The Vydra news. Beaten by the arse. Boufal goes to Saints not us. Now this. Really hope he doesn't stay with us. It's Oulare replacing Vydra in the squad all over again.
