Remember he's only made 4 league starts since his move from Montpellier, where he was excellent. Think he'd be a great signing, and would compliment Capoue well.

He certainly has some passion in him. Perfect foil for Capoue's laid-back nonchalance.

Looking forward to their good cop/bad cop routine.

 

Looks like he doesn't mind getting forward either. If he and Capoue get an understanding together then that could be an awesome partnership in midfield.

By the same token, could when we were playing a diamond last season be considered a quadruple pivot? Why when we go up do we drop to a double pivot? More TV money should mean more pivots.

Usually Pozzo wants the security of a long-term deal for players that have a decent potential sell-on. If we've settled for a 3-year, we must really want him.
