£10m for him & Capoue http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Stambouli-Etienne-Capoue-wanted-Watford.html Sky Sports News HD have confirmed the bid was accepted using their Sky Sports News HD Sky Sports Sources
They're probably the ***** that keep pushing through boring 15 minute interviews at tinpot athletic events.
Would be happy to sign these. Okay value at £10m for the pair - let's see if they can prove the hype before they joined spurs was justified.
So we will have broken our transfer record, but won't know who for. Do we assume it's £5m each or some variant of £10m?
Do the Stambouli deal first at 4.3m - then Capoue for 5.7m 10 mins later - that way we can brake our transfer record twice in a day!

In my opinion both are very good players and would be assets. Interestingly they only started one game together for Spurs, but I believe they would make a good double pivot. Stambouli has won the league in France and was appointed vice captain..at 24 he should have good re-sale value too one day if he shines for us. Not many Spurs fans I know thought badly of him during his season there..he was just unlucky to get injured and then not get his place back. Capoue is a proven talent, though there are question marks over his attitude and on field discipline but I've little doubt he would be a fantastic asset for us and would have something to prove too, just like Gomes did. Could be our first double signing from an English club since..er..Williamson and Hoskins I think?
French media report says 3 year deal for Capoue at £5.7. Stambouli £4.3 million (length of deal not quoted)
Most famous for his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter. Hannibal would have been ideal in the holding role.
I am longer ITK in any shape or form, as I now have to disclose prior to any post to avoid upsetting GD. However by chance this morning I did find out late last night we completed a double deal which we're planning to announce Monday. Could be the Napoli pair or the Spurs pair I don't have a ****ing clue.
Since Capoue was apparently at the training ground the other day i'd say it's probably the Spurs duo.
Just having a browse over the spurs forums to find some insight on Capoue 'Cheesus said: ↑ the mobility of proffessor x but the legs of usain bolt, what a wasteman.'
Also browsing the spurs forums and found a comment that is a bit too true for my liking: "QPR, Hull... doesn't Watford see a pattern?" When QPR got relegated both times, they brought in Jenas and Townsend (first relegation) and Sandro (second relegation), whilst Hull brought in Livermore and Huddlestone. Errrrr I hope we're not the next in line
Jenas was pretty much washed up, a shadow of the potential he had when he was younger. Townsend I've never really rated after his initial burst of fame he was soon found out...force him onto his right foot. Livermore is a 'never was' and Huddlestone, sweetest striker of a ball I've seen in many a year, but I wouldn't build a team around him. Sherwood and Pocchetino haven't really give them a chance and I wouldn't be surprised if Levy didn't want them to play to trigger any additional appearance payments.
