Half decent strikers are too expensive. That’s why we haven’t signed one (from outside the Pozzo stable) in the whole time they have owned us unless you class Richarlison or Pedro as an out and out striker. We can only afford quarter decent strikers. Gray was quarter decent but cost the price of a very decent striker.

I also wonder how many of the other 23 clubs in the division have a striker better than we do. Fair enough if the biggest clubs do but we should be able to get someone as good as the rest of the bunch.
