This would be the best outcome. If he gets the bullet it's 'just another one' whereas him walking because the squad is unworkable is a change from the norm.

 

Whilst I agree, I don't think he'd walk away from a payoff, so I fear the cycle will continue unfortunately.

 

And if he walked he might not be subject to some kind of gagging clause.

The way SB has spoken about how 'surprising' our injury situation is, he has already identified how bad the 5h1tshow behind the scenes is. And the lack of effort and commitment in the last 2 games has probably shocked him. Despite all the noise about WFC being a 'mess', any coach looking at that squad in the Championship would think play-offs, at least, was a certainty.
It's not until they've actually been in charge for a few days that the realisation starts to dawn.

As much as a Gino is an incompetent lunatic, he won't sack Bilic if we lose to Norwich. Lose to sh*t town and Millwall as well as Norwich, then he'll be gone, and so the endless cycle will continue.

There's not a manager on this planet who could get this squad the top 2 finish the Italian idiot supposedly expects. We aren't going to get any better than Bilic.
