Shock horror, I bet they feel “incredibly protective” over Gino or whatever **** they spouted about Val. Sycophants and boot lickers. They’ll magically get invited next time anyone at the club can be bothered to talk to us though.
Limo service driven there and back with champagne. Gino masks to wear at the event to up the support.
Can they still play ?! https://twitter.com/LowerTiers/stat...om/LowerTiers/status/1762516126691365283?s=20
Probably not, but imagine having all those involved in Watford FC. Imagine the stadium name change.... they are all credible people in the game but perhaps too many heads on the Hydra so-to-speak could cause conflicts unless they all sing from the same hymn sheet.
Amazed they don’t get bored of being publicly wrong and behind the curve year after year. What a bunch of irrelevant self important tools they are.
Ah, so this was the real long game, explaining why we let Bergkamp junior make no impact whatsover in our academy for a year. Gino-ius!
No matter how terrible we are under VI, no matter how much he needs to be sacked, let us not forget who is responsible for this shambles.
I get that it’s a reaction to another loss but Pozzo out can only happen if somebody else wants to buy them out….and that isn’t happening anytime soon
Because the moron expects his losses to be covered hence asking price is unreasonable. Fans should be making the vile man as uncomfortable as possible at matches.
There’s not a peep. In fact not even a peep about Val out either. Seems like most people are voting with their feet - either not coming like you or binning it off and leaving early when it’s obvious we’re losing. Leaves the power clappers and the ‘can I have your shirt?’ gang in charge on the final whistle.
I find that people at the games on the W0 site just blame the manager and players. And there isn’t so anti Pozzo feeling or maybe it’s just apathy.
I haven't been to the last couple of games. Pozzo isn't going anytime soon and the club is just a shadow of it's former self. The fans are treated like sh!t, we're lied to and treated like the enemy by stewards. There's barely any likeable characters at the club, I feel absolutely no connection to any of them. Maybe Andrews as he's one of us and Livermore seems like a decent bloke, other than that I'm struggling. I detest the people running this club. I can take being relegated and having a bang average football team, but Pozzo and his cronies don't give two sh!ts about the fans and that's not the club I was brought up following. I have absolutely no pride in following this club anymore and it's down to Pozzo, we're a soulless and grubby little club and it's only going to get worse now the money has run out.
My thoughts on our fanbase are well known. Pozzo’s dismantling of our great institution would not go unchallenged by other groups of supporters. I can accept we have simple folk on board who don’t want to poke too much beneath the surface but the facilitators are truly vile. I’ve given up. Our fanbase (I’m general) is such a disappointment.
Another Pozzo sacking, another piece of evidence that Pozzo is a failed owner. Four of five seasons have been either relegation or mid-table Championship mediocrity. The club has no money and cannot invest in quality players. The culture is dysfunctional. Fan engagement is dropping. Meanwhile Pozzo seems to think he knows all and makes no mistakes. This is an absolute mess and the fish rots from the head. Pozzo out. Duxbury out.
It's a new RESET mate. Anything before is thus irrelevant and ownership are completely unaccountable. Get behind the TEAM!
"Dismantling of our great institution" Rememberered "facilitators" but forgot the words "rancid" and "despot".
Can I just ask - what exactly is the point of this thread? An owner obviously can't be sacked - so "Pozzo out" is a totally meaningless statement/wish/demand, right? It's like moaning about the fact that gravity is pulling things to the ground.
I’d extend that to point out that it’s only gravity that is pulling us down through the leagues at the moment. But yes, a better thread title would have been something to highlight the recent lack of success and poor decision making rather than suggesting he should be removed.
Let me think. Oh maybe it’s to allow our fans to express their utter revulsion at the way our club has been run? And express the hope that he sells up to a new custodian, however remote that hope may be with his valuation of the club. I think it’s perfectly reasonable for fans to air their views of our dreadful owner, even if the club will not permit free speech on a match day.
I think people just shrug their shoulders and have apathy to the situation because they feel there is nothing they can do . Whereas calling for a manager to go and blame him for a lack of signings etc is easier as eventually he will be gone .
Seen a few "Pozzo Out" stickers dotted around, but that seems to be it so far. Maybe when Scott Parker leads us to the bottom of the championship next season, people will be more vocal.
No that will be all on Scott. As he will make clear in the summer, when turning down the chance to dip into the £30m war chest, he inherited a top 6 squad.
