I'd hope we replace him. The newest acquisitions hardly have a history of being prolific goal scorers ( yes I know at the minute nor is Igalho). Also Isaac and Okaka are sick notes so we can't rely on them. That's more pressure on Troy.
Watford want £25m http://africanfootball.com/news/682...-25-million-for-Odion-Ighalo-Chinese-club-bid
Looking at the players we've signed there is a distinct possibility of playing 3 up front. Ighalo can only really play in the middle of the 3 and he's behind Deeney and Okaka for that role so he may think the time is right to move. China would be handy as it stop the inevitable goal he will score against us if he joins another PL side plus China is more likely to be stupid money. Be a shame to see him go but his career suggests that he won't rediscover the goal scoring form. Best of luck to him if he goes
Unlikely move, he seemed to lose it after the Spanish intended prosecution regarding his driving test problem. He needs a country with no EU links or cross border exchanges - so China may be the answer.
Personally, I'd rather offload Okaka as I think he's too similar to Troy and I have serious doubts about his ability to play consistently in the PL. In saying that, it's obvious Ighalo needs to move on. Given some of Troys reactions last season to his greedy nature on the pitch, I don't think he's been comfortable at our club for a while. But all jokes aside about his ability, the guys dad died and I think I read the funeral was delayed for quite some time. That is bound to affect the lads confidence and concentration. Sadly, we have suffered because of that but I don't think it's down to a complete lack of ability on his part. If he goes, we should be grateful for the money, but we should also be thankful and wish him luck. I just hope he goes abroad and doesn't come back to haunt us by staying in England.
The guy did a great job for us last few seasons, should he move on then I hope it's to a far away land in a league I have no interest in and he does well out of it. Great times spent singing his song will stay with me forever!
Is this odious filth still clogging up our dressing room? If there's no transfer tomorrow I'm going to start seriously contemplating doing something quite drastic.
is their a chink in his armour Will always be grateful for what he has done but best he goes for all concerned. He will I'm sure regain his confidence and start scoring again but his missing of virtual open goal against Man U will live long in the memory
So says the Mirror. Hmmm. Yes, considering. Stroking our chins and thinking about it. OK. Finished considering. We'll reluctantly accept.
Actual tears are running down my face. You win, you just win. Honestly I've not stopped laughing for the last 5 minutes and I've not had a drink in a week...maybe that's my issue...
I would suggest that, if that's what gets you crying with laughter for 5 mins, then not drinking for a week is the least of your issues.
If he leaves hope it is for a team in another league as we all know his 1 and only goal in the PL will be against us. He was superb for us in his purple patch and for that alone he deserves our respect and thanks. Not only that signing his song was brilliant and an iconic part of our success. One we will look back on in years to come with a smile. It is time though for him to move on and restart his career. His performances havent been great but then again he isnt the only one. His problem is if he doesnt score he isnt doing anything else for the team. If we get anything like £27mil for him then hats off to Gino as no way is he worth half that at the moment. Clever we manage to sell 1 mis-firing player which covers the Jan signings and allows us to offload some of the other deadwood at a knock down price to get them out the club. One final point which has been made already.. really dont like to total hate some have shown Iggy. He was a massive part of our success and should be remembered as such. The way some have carried on you would think he had scoring record to match Moralee.
This. I'm embarrassed and ashamed that some of our so called supporters give Iggy so much abuse. Surely we would just want to support him to get his form back instead of trying to make him feel two feet tall.. Good luck to him wherever he goes and thank you Iggy for all those magical moments.

There are many posters on here who I would describe as having a dry sense of humour. You, sir, are not one of them. Sue me.
What sense of humour do I have then? Bizarre reply considering I didn't post anything which could actually constitute humour...
Agree mate. He was a big part of getting us to where we are now. Looking back at his purple patch the drop in form over the past year or so is incredible. Best for all if he moves on but not to another Prem club!
I once ordered £35 worth of Chinese and they didn't include free prawn crackers; obviously never ordered from there again The cheek of it
