Not on loan then... @watfordfcsays: OFFICIAL: #watfordfc have completed the signing of @Miguel_layun on a permanent 4.5 year deal
Doesn't change anything though does it, it's just so we don't use up a loan slot. He'll be gone at the end of the season if we don't go up. Seeing the reaction from other fans to this will be hilarious though!
Signed from Granada http://mobile.watfordfc.com/news/article/150106-watford-fc-miguel-layun-signs-2185856.aspx
Permanent transfer. Well ****. I guess Granada didn't know about that one. Their fans were already up in arms at us getting him on lone.
The Pozzos are certainly trying. Signings like this a number of years ago were simply not possible. If a sense of passion for the club could be instilled in the players, you would have to think that this squad has great potential. Back to you Joka!
True cost 4 mill euro FFP cost zilch I never tire of finding this funny The FL might as well have just let us carry on bulk loaning Udinese players for all the effect the rule change has had, in fact it worked to our advantage as other clubs can't now do what we do
Sounds like a good signing, though I can't help but feel very sorry for Granada. They are really struggling this season and need some decent investment if they are to stay up.
Unfortunately for them the big carrot is the premier league and that's where they need Watford to be so all three clubs can reap the benefits.
Just watched his interview. He genuinely sounds excited to be here and he speaks English better than some of our British players!
Great signing for us, delighted that this is a permanent deal. With regard to Granada, there new striker scored last night albeit in a 2-1 defeat in the 1st leg of the cup 5th round. As Sherlock said earlier in this thread, Granada will be looked after. As with us, I'm sure it's just the lack of communication that causes the fans to become frustrated HAPPY FUNDING NEW YEAR!!!!
