Probably because Pudil is pretty much playing at his level and probably won't achieve much else in his career (he's 28). We all know Vydras potential, and i'm willing to say that Vydras agent also does.
That's because Pudil is nearly 30 and I doubt he'll get another big move. Vydra is younger and has the potential to get a move which rakes in the money.
R4E, I'm not sure if you got that, but I think it's because Pudil is in his late 20s, Vydra isn't so there's potential to be had
So Zola resigned before Vydra left. Who was that guy leaping about on the pitch after THAT goal, then? Was he the same imposter who was pretending to be Zola until Christmas?
It was slow acting managerial death poison. Zola resisted but ultimately couldn't continue and stepped down.
Long after Vydra had left Zola could still see him standing there flicking the V's everytime he time closed his eyes.
Vydra and Pudil both in the Czech squad for their friendly against Finland. Vydra's only remaining chance to force a big move this year will be to blow everyone's mind at the WC, so I suspect we won't know whether or not he is joining us until afterwards. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go to Brazil. Very pleased for Pudil!
http://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/...chwegler-und-zuber-nicht-dabei-id2849020.html Swiss fans not happy about Abdi's omission. They must have some phenomenal midfielders in Switzerland...
Only a couple that are better than Abdi imo, like Inler and possibly Xhaka. Abdi is certainly better than Pajtim Kasami, who made the stand by list
Kasami is a very good player, I wouldn't say Abdi is certainly better than him. Almen could have made the standby list if he'd been fit all season though.
To be fair he hardly raises a mention in the fans comments though I assume most will be ignorant of his injury. And funny enough they always do have plenty of decent central midfielders, it's usually the other departments where they struggle most.
West Brom released a few players today as well as thanking 5 others that were on loan with them this season including Vydra in the statement. Unlikely to say such a thing if there were efforts being made to keep him another year, so looks likes he wont be returning and is back at Udinese for the time being.
http://isport.blesk.cz/clanek/live-...bavi-rad-by-prestoupil-do-premier-league.html Interview with Vydra. The translation is a bit ropey but I think the main message is that he wants to sign somewhere for 4-5 years and ideally in England in the Premier League, but at somewhere where he is already known?
When will the boy learn? His agent is gonna end up ruining his career if he carries on. Looks very unlikely he'll end up here then and even if he does it would be begrudgingly.
Vydra can say whatever he wants. The more he tries to force a move the more clubs will think he'll be a risk not worth taking. I can't think of many clubs at Vydra's level who will splash out on him only for the player to force a bigger move after one good season. He seems perfectly moulded by his agent.
I got more for my "Pozzos out" post, before it, and all trace of it were removed from the forum for upsetting the applecart.
The best he's getting in the Premier League is a loan move, no club will tie him down on a long contract on the back of this season. If his agent and him weren't so infuriatingly short sighted, they'd realise that signing up for 4/5 year contract with us would guarantee him lots of games, lots of goals, and lots of attention. He'd probably end up in the premier league with us over that time. If he was 27 or 28 I might understand, but he's so young and has a long time to hone his skills and make himself a better player. He's at risk of tragically ******* away his career being a football nomad clinging on to any Premier League team that will have him.
