I said we shouldn’t worry about losing Ex-Barcelona winger and Spanish international Gerard Deulofeu a year ago because I heard we were interested in a young, relegation threatened League One winger.

That winger was THIS LAD WHATEVER HIS NAME IS.

Just watched the highlight videos. He's the best player ever to play for us (in the unlikely event he ever gets a game with the first team that is).

I nothing about him, but I expect he would be signed on a significantly lower salary than Success, Penaranda or Sinclair. So what’s not to like?

He does look like a talent. He actually started out at Palace, but they let him go shortly after a controversial incident when he was being a ball boy in a game against Wet Spam. The Spam keeper Adrian was time wasting , so he took the ball onto the pitch and put it down so he could take the goal kick quickly (I remember this!)

His touch at full pelt is really special. Seems a steal at that price, even if he never plays for us.

Apparently according to some of those ******s we're the definition of a 'yo-yo club'. Could've sworn we were there for 5 straight seasons. WBA are the definition of yo-yo club.

Why we didn’t buy into a Moroccan club, (only randomly chosen as a country on the Med which would have clubs for sale cheaper than European ones), on the promise of sending them star players, that we could convert from loans to permanent signings and get rid of them I don’t know.

 

You lose the allure of Adam Leventhal telling us they are the ‘next Lionel Messi’ or that we ‘beat ‘Man Utd’ to their signature if you do it that way.

 

After I posted this I looked him up and saw he started at Palace and told Mr IBB who was very downcast.
Apparently a well known ex P player has confided in Mr IBB that P have really messed up their academy and have no good young players coming through.
I remember that incident with Adrian but didn't realise it was him.

Surprising considering the number of talented young players to emerge from sarf London in recent years. We've got a promising youngster that Palace let go here already in Hungbo (he's a bit older than Baah, but I wonder if they know each other?)

Just watching the highlights video, ho looks confident and has way better control of the ball at his feet than Troy, Andre or Stipe. Given his age and scope for development this should be a no brainer, get him signed.

Even European clubs (other than the clubs in the UK!) are dirt cheap at the moment. ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie are up for sale for under €5m, Spezia in Serie A recently sold for under €25m and Ligue 2 side Le Havre who have a reputation of producing incredible youth products (such Pogba, Mahrez, Ben Mendy, Mandanda, Payet as well as Hornets star Pape Gueye) are also up for sale at a modest €15m. ~

Meanwhile in England, Ipswich recently sold for £40m....

 

This may sound very idiotic to some but then I am an idiot. So when you purchase a club say ADO at 5m. Do you then also collect any debt they have?

 

Just read some stuff on twitter about him. He's got heart problems and has been gash since he failed his medical at Man City apparently.

But he can do backflips so it's still a resounding YES from me.
