Don't you start on one of the TV and movie stars of my childhood

 

I've followed his career through the youth leagues.

He's one of those youth players that looked a star from a very young age and I know a lot of United coaches were very excited about him. He still has a lot of quality and has a fantastic range of passing, but sometimes struggles to impose himself on matches, especially when the opposition is quite aggressive/ physical.

From a personal point of view I'm quite excited to see how he gets on. However I also think that he could struggle with the physicality and pace of the Championship and think he'd suit a team with a more aggressive and stronger centre midfielders to compliment his talents.

 

I wonder if the timing of this means we are about to sell a HG player. Dawson?

Remember seeing him play for Utd against some no hopers in the Europa League.

Looked neat and tidy, technically sound without ever imposing himself on the game.

Interested to see if he’s able to add a bit more bite to his play and compete at this level without the game passing him by.

It is a thing according to the Telegraph article below, but if what it says is correct, I think Garner will still take up a squad place.

"Championship clubs will be limited to 25 players under new rules, which includes a minimum eight players needing to be 'home grown'. The limits do not apply to under-21s ...unless they were signed on loan"

17 year old Chalobah was great for us in the physical pacey Championship.

I think that's a tiny bit of a myth tbh. Of course there's an element of truth to what you're saying but I think if you're good enough, you'll find a way to impact games.
