10-0??? Were you playing with your toes?

 

Ah fair enough... I didn't expect many 10-0's would be doing the rounds haha. I played 4, won 4.

5-0, 3-0, 10-0, and 4-2. I decided when I conceded two goals that it was time to call it a night!

Thoroughly enjoying it though.

 

First game on career mode, beat Stevenage 6-1 in Capital One Cup, Vydra got 5!

 

How come? I've been waiting aaages for a sequel and probably hyped it up to myself a bit too much... and I can't get enough of BL2. The loot variations are somewhat disappointing at first but then we don't really know what they'll do with the DLC. The story and gameplay are vastly improved and it's actually a challenge at long last!

 

First time I've given ultimate team a go on FIFA and I'm loving it, by far the best mode on in the game. Didn't have a clue what I was doing at first and just chucked together a random team of good players, ignoring all the chemistry related stuff, but since found out what a difference it makes and so sold everyone and started again. I've now put together a French/Ligue 1 team with 99 chemistry that are quite a joy to play with. Remy, Pastore, Menez, M'Villa, Sakho and Debuchy are the real gems in my team. Also I recommend Mounier to everyone as a super sub, every time I've brought him on his torn the other team apart with his pace and crossing.

If I'm honest my opinion's changed since I first played it. I just couldn't believe how incredibly dull and samey it was for the first hour or so but I'm enjoying it now.

 

Anyone else been having problems with FIFA? First of all my Ultimate Team is only 3 star rated, and everytime I go so play a FUT Seasons match I come up against 4 & 5 star teams, how is that fair? Secondly I keep being logged out of the EA Servers whilst in FUT matches which isnt great. These things are really not letting me enjoy the game.

 

It seems as if you get matched with anyone on seasons mode which isn't fair at all, I got matched up against a four star team with my three star Watford team, I won 2-1 but it was harder than it should have been considering he had about 40 chemistry

 

Wow, I only found out today that on Ultimate Team Mariappa is worth over 30k! It's because he is the joint fastest (I think) CB in the Prem alongside Younes Kaboul but didn't realise that until now

 

How are people's FIFA 13 Ultimate Team's coming along?

I have 150k coins, a sweaty BPL team, and of course the full Watford team - currently in the process of changing them all from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2

 

cannot wait for Halo 4, very excited about this game.

 

One of the games I've really never got. It just seems like a watered down FPS for kids. Halo 3 nearly bored me into a coma.

 

Never been into Halo either tbh.

 

im by no means a halo fanboy, i play many different games however the halo franchise is probably the best gaming franchise i have ever played. unlike call of duty which i also enjoy, previous iterations of halo have all tried hard to make positive changes to the game unlike certain other games which stay by and large the same between releases.

i think what puts people off with halo is that it is not simply a point and shoot like call of duty, i have always found it to be far more tactical.

 

GTA V available for pre-order from Nov 5th, released spring 2013, only new game worth talking about imho.

 

Due to a total b@lls up from Amazon with my payment details yesterday, it delayed the dispatch by a few hours, so mine didn't arrive today either. Despite having ordered FM2013 and Halo4 in the same order, and one of them having already arrived, they told me something wasn't correct with my details, and asked me to log on and change them... I logged on... selected the exact same details... and they worked. Item was dispatched late yesterday afternoon, so should probably expect it tomorrow.

Wouldn't have had time to play it today though anyway, but it's just a little bit ridiculous to be honest. My last couple of orders from Amazon have not gone smoothly.

so started playing halo 4 today.

first impressions - absolutely awesome. the prologue in the campaign is brilliant and really gets your fired up for the rest of the game, i wont ruin it but there is one bit in particular in the prologue that i have always wanted to do in halo and 343 have pulled it off brilliantly. the gameplay flows nicely and the story is building nicely.

i also got into some multiplayer action and the gameplay is brilliant. far superior to any of the recent call of duty games in my opinion. 343 have taken the best bits from call of duty and incorporated them into the game well, whilst also adding ordnance drops that are capable of completely changing the course of the game. in my last game tonight my team was down 350-500 points with 10 points per kill. the target was 600 points, i was on a kill streak and unlocked the saw as an ordnance drop. by the end of the game the team had managed to get back to 550-600 points, quite a comeback. looking forward to playing some spartan ops at the weekend with some friends too.

Goalkeepers on FIFA are utterly pathetic. Most unrealistic, awful part of the game. So sick of seeing every f**king shot parried straight back into the middle of the box.

 

What keeper is that then?

 

Assassins Creed 3 was overall very disappointing.

FM 13 - Haven't played that much yet so still getting used to the new layout/features etc but seems an improvement

 

finished halo 4 campaign. really enjoyed it, the multiplayer is awesome.

Interesting to hear you say that AC3 was disappointing. I'm about 75% of the way through and I am not disappointed at all.
