Diamond is an experienced player but what on earth is that first sentence saying , kill him off because he could be useful to either side ?!
2nd sentence vote Norway off because he has played more than once WTF is this on about ?.
What a compete load of cobblers ! we either have a newbie seer and a clever wolf or a sensible seer and a dumb ass wolf!

 

Reckon the second message is the wolf. Picked out an experienced player to try and put them under suspicion and potentially voted out.

Does not mean Diamond is good though. Wolves dont know eachother at this stage so he or she could have easily picked a wolf by mistake to name.

Afternoon all. Had a quick read through and seen the messages but will be more thorough after work.

Gut feeling though is that the seer is message 1 and the wolf is message 2.

 

As per those before, I'm inclined to believe the first is the Seer and 2nd the Wolf. This doesn't exonerate Diamond but puts him on the same footing as me, Moog, Harrow etc etc.

 

Let's just say the first message is from the wolf. We know the wolf can't view so just pulled Norway's name at random so chances are he is good regardless. If it is the wolf he or she is experienced enough to not go blabbing some sucker is evil cos no one would buy it. They also have very good English. Not a single error. That alone narrows it down.

Following on from that train of thought the second message would be the seer. For it to be the seer the content and timing of the message makes him a werewolf virgin surely? Hey Guys is very American, anybody else (other than me lol) got or had strong ties to America?

So do we have an experienced wolf and inexperienced seer or experienced seer and inexperienced wolf? Both are possible.

I do think either Norway or Diamond have to go, we've nothing to pin yet on anybody else. Chances are they are both good but from the messages alone it would have to be Diamond. Only other alternative is Norway risking naming himself but that is suicide, if not today then pretty soon after.

 

I think "hey guys" is quite universal, rather than American.

I agree that only Diamond or Norway are in the frame so far, though it's possible that both are good.

It's not possible, however that both are evil

 

I'm less inclined to go for either and to pick out a quiet one instead. See no reason to take out an experienced player for no reason and both can help team good if both good.

Odds are both are good unless the wolf has named themselves.

Interesting post PO assuming first message is wolfie, 2nd message seer and werewolf virgin line of thought , I think everyone in this game has played at least 2 or 3 times ,therefore in my mind thats another reason that 1st message is seer and 2nd Wolf. which as i have mentioned before exonerates me , but means Diamond probably has been a random pick and odds suggest he is good as well.

 

That makes sense too, but who do you pick?

 

One is a genuine Seer view and one is a shot in the dark. Maybe you lot might want to use a little brain power on that fact.

Err lol are you even following this? I'm assuming nothing. Day 1 overwhelmingly it's usually a good guy taken out and if by chance it's a bad guy it's always luck rather than judgement. What we do know is the seer has named one of you as good and the wolf has named the other as good. If we pick a quiet guy then who? I think there are three or four players yet to post and about another four with two or less posts.

 

Daft, SLB, WAS and Steve Harrow I think have yet to post. The Ultimate Truth and Norniron just the one, Squibs, PJ and Cassetti two.

 

Never takes long for unreasonable accusations to be made does it? One of the things I love about this game, at least until I'm dead!

We won't really know which message is from which player today but is useful for later.

Ideal time for a quick city break. Temporarily avoid death by taking a holiday. Pop into the shop, Pozzo travel agents - we find players from countries you've barely heard of!

 

Post too much you’re suspicious, post too Llittle you’re suspicious. I don’t think a wolf would risk not posting at all by 2pm so would assume whoever’s not posted yet isn’t a wolf but has just genuinely forgotten.

Afternoon villagers. Forgot we were playing so have just had to trawl through 98 messages.

Second message doesn't sound like a Seer to me, and the logic behind lynching Norway doesn't stack up. The wolf is just as much in the dark as any of us, so if message 1 was the Wolf, they wouldn't have the foggiest whether Norway is good or bad.

 

Yea you did...for the record I'm not on a witch hunt of quiet posters. Not on Day 1 anyway. Who will you vote for? Who is anyone going to vote for?

 

Daft Row, SLB or Squbbs for me right now.

 

I like Meh’s theory in principle but just a bit risky at this moment in time. So probably one of the two named in the messages although I do think they’re both probably good.
