I think it just emphasises our level as a club now. Gosling was no good in midfield last season. The game was too quick for him and passed him by, but he's still a lot better than Livermore. This is probably why it took so long before announcing Livermore as Gosling only gave his decision last week, so the timing fits this. I think Livermore is the replacement for Gosling.
Released. Not the most popular player, and it was definitely his time to go, but he gave his all wherever and whenever needed, good luck to him
I don’t think we did want to keep him. I understood we had a look at him this summer and Ismael decided he wouldn’t be part of our plans. Regardless, it’s good to see he’s recovered from that horrible injury at Bristol City and good luck for the future. Maybe a happier trip back to the West Country awaits, by signing for a club down there. Was a useful signing in our promotion season and unexpectedly a useful right-back at times last season, and came across well in that interesting interview he gave to the WO. Not quite what we needed but we will always have Norwich away!
Nice gig, down a few levels so he should be able to compete even with the injuries, and at a team fighting at the top of the table, good luck Dan!
