Pretty sure this vindicates the Stability's choice to go into the season with a 23-man squad - we must all apologise to AL now.
I don't need to apologise. I've always known, and said many times, that they have got everything absolutely spot-on this season. IGWT.
Actually I've come up with a way to get more than 30 minutes out of him, make a sub on say 25 mins and sub him off after 65 mins, he gets a breather at half time and gets to play 33.3% extra ie 40 mins instead of 30!
I've learnt my lessons about recruitment and understand Gosling will be a fundamental part of Watford going forward.
We are planning ahead and are sure Dan is looking to make an active contribution to the forthcoming Championship campaign. We will be sure not to make any more mistakes full stop. In this I believe I have the backing of all Watford fans and our desire to make this one of the top clubs in the world......

Hold on. So club messes up and is left with too many players, so after failing to get him a move they make him train on his own and ostracize him? No wonder half our players don't give a damn about the club. It's a horrible vile little enterprise under Pozzo.
Roy seems to be saying he's been training with the squad throughout even though he wasn't a formal part of it, which makes sense as he's always in the club's training and Gurning GK videos.

I’m even less of a Danny Rose fan…I’m indifferent to Dan Gosling. But I prefer each of them far more than Gino Pozzo and Scott Duxbury, that’s for certain.
I suppose they were hoping Rose would have left by now . It was obvious Gosling would be the sort of player Roy would like . Experienced central midfielder with a number of PL games under his belt . I am sure they could have at least asked him .
It's crazy that the manager didn't have a say who was in the final squad. And even more crazy was naming Fletcher even though we were clearly open to letting him go and Hodgson had shown no interest in playing him. But this is Watford so we'll just have to trust The Stability. Gino is a football man after all.
Seems Roy ignored orders and good for him “I was told he was training separately and was not going to be part of the club”. Horrible club we have become.
Even the Rose thing is moot really - Hodgson joined during the transfer window. Yes Kamara had joined….but if the manager felt there was a player at the club he’d like to involve, it’s ridiculous that in our predicament, the club didn’t even allow him that choice.
Although I guess it’s somewhat telling for Rose’s character that both he and Gosling were ostracised - yet only Gosling was allowed to train with the first team. What a cracking piece of recruitment Rose has been. Already a turd that won’t flush after 6 months. And an expensive turd at that.
Feels pretty likely he's one of our top earners too. He's played an absolute blinder getting us to sign him up to a two year contract. In fact, his whole career has been a bit of a wheeze, he's been a professional footballer for 15 seasons and has started an average of 13.5 league games per season by my calculations.
Well, fair play to Dan, been frozen out all season but he's done well in (2 of the) the last 3 games of the season
